Woman Pleads Guilty To Promoting Prostitution, Other Charges Dropped, early August, 2005. COLUMBUS, Ohio -- One of the women involved in an alleged multimillion dollar brothel is now cooperating with authorities, NBC 4's Nancy Burton reported. Kim Freeman, who was arrested in July, pleaded guilty Wednesday to four counts of promoting prostitution. Other charges against her were dropped. Columbus police and Franklin County sheriff's deputies made two simultaneous busts June 22 at businesses on Indianola Avenue in Clintonville and on state Route 161 and found a lot of cash. As part of her plea deal, Freeman agreed to testify against the alleged Madame. Police said one of the alleged brothel owners was counting $750,000 in cash when police entered the building. That money is now sitting in an interest-bearing account run by the city. When the case concludes, the money will be distributed between police, the sheriff's office and the prosecutor's office, Burton reported.
