MANCHESTER – Police in Manchester have charged two women with prostitution after a Web sting operation.
Two women, 20 and 22, are charged with misdemeanor prostitution offenses.
Manchester police officers responded to escort service postings on the Website, craigslist.com.
Police said the women agreed to perform sex acts for money.

Manchester, NH street sting-- 4 arrested on charges related to prostitution Info current as of April 18, 2005 MANCHESTER — Three women and one man were arrested Saturday night on prostitution-related charges, Manchester police said yesterday. The man, 29-year-old xxxxxxx, of Second Street, was arrested on charges he approached an undercover female officer and propositioned her to have sex in exchange for $30. xxxxx was arrested about 10:30 p.m. in the area of Merrimack and Union streets. Police said Stephanie xxxxx, 19, of Hanover Street, Jennifer xxxx, 23, of Hudson, and Katherine xxx, 21, of Village Circle Way, were arrested on charges they offered to perform sexual acts in exchange for money. All three were arrested around 9 p.m. on Saturday in the center city. [Look at those ages! Look at that price offered to the undercover. Information current as of mid-July, 2004. Manchester police ran a sting operation with a lone female decoy. She was dressed in "plain clothes" for the sting. Since previous reports mention 4's and 5's as SW's who hang out there, sounds like this female decoy must have been only a 4 or a 5, poor girl. The operation was conducted near the intersection of Merrimack and Union streets in response to complaints about prostitution activity in the area. Watch out, remember even the ugly ones might be decoys. (Review # 9619)

Manchester is not the street action place it was. Once in a great while, Mike's Pub and Grub has some action, but all are about 3s at best. Walkers on Union Street and Lake Ave are the only choices, mostly about 3-4s, and cops on bicycles regularly patrol, take plate numbers, as well as carcops when the bars close down (1am). Across from Mike's is Flo's, another dive with even uglier, dumber women, mostly crack-whores. Go somewhere other than Manchester! (Review # 9062)

In early April, 2004, police arrested five men who approached a female decoy. The female patrol officer was dressed in jeans, a sweater, and a hooded sweatshirt and stood at the corner of Union and Laurel Streets in Manchester. (Review # 8839)

Mikes Pub&Grub on Lake street was definitely the ticket in Manchester. Also, across the street from Mikes was Flo's, a very similar set up.
Within moments of entering Mikes I was approached by an obviously drunk mid-twenties working girl. Heavier set girl but nice tits.
Later her "cab driver" arrived and said he had a date for her if we weren't busy... 4 or five other girls were hanging out around the place but all seemed to be paired up with men (some seemed to be clients, others were handlers it seems). Most were from mid twenties into thirties but a couple of older girls were there as well. All of the trashy, pale, northern bar-fly type. No knockouts. Same thing at Flo's. Clientle bounced back and forth between the two bars. Prices 80-100 for full service. (Review # 7800)

Best place for street action in Manchester that I know of is still Lake Ave, Mike's Pub, a local dive/bar is your best bet, just go in and pull up to the bar, order a beer (stay away from the $1 drafts, order it in a bottle, trust me) You should be approached fairly quickly. Most of the women are maybe a 2-4 drunks or druggies, but occasionally a 6 or 7 will be around. ~~
~~Cops know this area, so be careful, don't negotiate anything in the bar... suggest "getting out of here" and once in your car, do a standard "cop check" (i.e., show me yours and I'll show you mine, touch to be extra sure).... Then negotiate the fee. ~~
~~Some girls will try to scam you, so be careful. Most will do car dates, or there's some pretty inexpensive motels in the area. Action in this area has died down substantially from the good ole days about 10 yrs ago before they began prosecuting "johns". If anyone knows of any other locations for good street action in or around this area, please post. ~~
