I have not been to Cozumel in two years, but since Wilma(Hurricane) things have changed. I would no longer consider this a destination for those who looking for some side action. First, the Carribean Queen is no longer. Was told owners went bankrupt.
La Salsa has always been for the cruise ship, but it closes at 5pm. As far as the females two or three days I stopped by to have my $3.00 dollar Sol. If I was rating the females that were there on a 1 to 10 scale, the women could not even get on the scale.
The Green House Cigar bar is still open, saw some 2's slash 3's. They close at 10 pm and then it seems the owners slash operators have opened another place on the opposites side of the ocean down from downtown, but below the El Cid Hotel.
The main goal it seemed was for the girls to get you to buy at drink, that cost 20.00 dollars so they could split thye profit with the house. Which was asking for a cover charge and I went to several of the other places. I would say 6 in total and nothing going on. Just back from Cozumel. Visited both La Salsa and Caribbean Queen. On previous trip I was more impressed with Caribbean Queen, but this trip, La Salsa was better.

Just got back from another trip to Cozumel and here was my experience in a nutshell...More and more cruise ships are fucking up the supply & demand for us. During an average weekday, there were 6+ ships docked at any given time. (multiply that by 1,800 passengers = a lot of horny guys with money in their pockets) Basically, the 8-10's at any of the clubs are asking for $200+ USD for 1 hour. The less attractive girls can be had for less.
The Black & White Club has a nice selection of young hotties, as well as Platinos. They ask for $300, but can be negotiated down to $150-$200 for 2 hours. I negotiated $100 for a 6, which included the room at La Salsa. I got a 6 for $80 including the room, as well as an 8 for $130 including the room at the Carribean Queen at different times. A friend down there said the Greenhouse Cigar Bar was full of women who send the guys out the door broke and with blue balls, so I skipped that one.
The C.Q. is currently the best place I found for price, selection, and atmosphere. Be aware though that the Mexican's working there will try to rip you off on drink prices, etc. so be careful. The lady manager's husband is a German who is real cool, just look for him if there is a problem.
You should also be aware that in most clubs in Cozumel, as soon as you walk in the door a chica will attach herself to you, walking you in and trying to negotiate with you right away (which is not kosher if you want to take a few minutes to shop for the best lady). And remember, like other locations around the world, don't overpay for the women. Most Mexican workers make $10-$20 USD per day. There is no reason to pay $200+ for sex in Mexico! Technical stuff--got bargain airfare $505 STL to CZM nonstop. Rented a house, $250 for 2 weeks my share. Many available over the net. Great food, reasonable prices, no one got the Mexican two-step. Prices higher Dec-March high season. Air fares may run up to $850; really varies. This is a scuba diver's island, not a primary sex destination, but you can have rewarding "night dives" here, too.~~ (Review # 1453)

Spent the New Year's down in Cozumel and what a party! The best club in Cozumel is LaSalsa, or "Salsa" as the cab drivers call it. Cab ride is about $4 from town. As mentioned in an earlier post, it is only open when the cruise ships are in. However, Cozumel is becoming a VERY popular cruise destination and there were ships docked every day that I was down there. Girls ranged from about a 4 to an 8 and cost around $60 for an hour. Make sure and tip the condom boy well or he will knock on your door after about 1/2 hour. ~~
I had fun at the Caribbean Queen as well. Also about $4 for the cab ride from town. Girls will approach you as soon as you sit down at the table. Quality ranged from a 2 to 8 and cost depends on looks. The 2 asked me for $40 for the hour, and the 8 asked me for $100 for the hour. I was quite pissed off when I left though, because I went with the 8 for $100 and she promised me that I could come twice and then lied. She said I could come back the next night and she would give me a discount, but I stayed away. Best to stick with LaSalsa. Happy traveling!~~ (Review # 1403)

Three places are active in Cozumel, Mexico: The Caribbean Queen, Platinos, and La Salsa.
Last time I was in Platinos, the dancers were nice, and the lap dances ($10) excellent. The asking price for a date was $200, non-negotiable, ridiculous. Beers were $2.50.
La Salsa caters to the cruise ship crowd, and is open only when cruise ships are in port, every day but Sunday, I think. Don't know how late they stay open, but the ships sail at 11:00 PM.
Caribbean Queen caters more to locals and has a good tourist following also. Great , sleazy atmosphere, a great place to take mixed company. Very nice totally nude dancers, and porn movies projected on a screen on one wall. Well, open-minded mixed company. Security is excellent. A dive buddy left her purse, and I went back and picked it up the next night. Going alone is no problem.
Dancers are apparently not for sale Girls are local. Some so-so; some outstanding. Marisol, a stunning 22 year-old, satisfied all my needs, so had no reason to complete this research project by going to La Salsa. Asking price is US$70. I never bargain; they need it worse than I do. Rooms are clean, for $10 paid at the bar. The place was a motel at one time. A $2 tip is left in the room for the housekeeper. The girl asks for and expects no tip. I offered the first night, and got ""What's this?""
Great condomless oral. Anything else apparently goes. Some girls give you a wash job before the oral. (Hey, Marisol isn't there every night.) You have an hour, but that is not enforced.
Beers are a buck. Your girl will sit in your lap the rest of the evening, if you wish. Her drinks are $4, for which she receives a chit. No girl spoke English. Learn some Spanish before you go. Cozumel taxis are 15 pesos or $2 (ten 10 pesos to the dollar), but $4 or $5 for the long drive to Caribbean Queen. (Review # 291)
