  Sosua, I have to say I love traveling..especially solo. I had originally planned on visiting another destination. But decided to look into DR instead. Not knowing how people are and what kind of atmosphere (believe it or not this site provides a " fluff free " travel review compared to all the rated PG sites) I visited Sosua for 2 weeks in April. Man it is very nice. The night life is very busy except on Sundays b/c mostly they are Christians w/ respect to that. There's plenty of bars and discos to visit. Keep in mind the women here in this city/village they are mostly working girls that attend these discos. It's just a Dominican way of life.
  
  Moving on there's 2 major discos one charges 100pesos cover at the door and when you enter: for every male there's physically 4-7 (more on the weekend) women. So it's great eye candy..there were few single women at the resort I stayed at too. So the selection is definitely there, most of the girls are pretty, some I would be questioning did see one tranny pass by. I would rate some girls 8-9 on a 10 scale. The rest about 3-5 maybe 6. Speaking in terms of introducing and wanting speak broken Spanish is attractive to them(when negotiating too). I only wanted to take 1 the whole time b/c of all the stds and safety went to the bar adjacent to this disco and there was this beautiful girl that looked like a short Naomi Campbell. She wanted 90usd but came down to 80 for the whole nigt. She provided the gfe and was wonderful. I tipped her some extra. If you stay at a resort they will charge you for an additional person after all that's what you are doing. If not you can find cheaper hotel near by..and pay 40-55usd for a comfortable queen to king size bed, there's always cheaper if you can go w/o a/c.
  
  During the day discos die down (obviously) but they open up the bar..seen some getting breakfast..lunch..and readily girls are roaming the streets and hanging out at the bars. So If one's mind is curios for a luncheon or for brunch there's food awaiting.
  
  Transportation: you can arrange a rental before visiting there (which is always cheaper online) if you want to wait till you get there it'll be expensive. For instance a car would cost 50usd/day while online 21usd/day. I prefer this b/c I love to sightsee and absorb as much as I can. You can rent a motorbike from variety of choices for around 30-35usd per 24hours. But felt unsafe b/c the dude was showing me how other tourists would leave their passports & cc info to convince me to do the same! I said I'll be back later and peaced out.
  
  There's readily ten billion Moto Concho's available. It's again a Dominican way of life in these villages. To some this is their f/t job give rides to people. Normally 20-50pesos is a fair price per each route..depending on the distance it can add up very easily. So always negotiate before getting on I had this one guy wanting 40usd for a 5-6min ride, settled for 100pesos (bastard, but he needs that more than me fine..)
  
  Massage Parlors are available they are located altogether and some have hair salons attached to them. For 30usd they will give you full body massage and a happy ending w/ a condom. Really good massages! for an entire hour. If you talk to them again in broken Spanish they'll like that and try to make jokes even teach some language and give a great massage.
  
  Overall I would visit this place over and over for the beaches. Food and of course the women and a getaway. Would consider this a second home away from reality. People are very friendly (lot of service people wants free payouts that can get tiring but just say not thank and move on) at night stay only closer to the city as if you venture off it'll get a bit lonesome and scary..might be unsafe. You'll have plenty of these Moto Concho's offer your anything from weed to coke to girls. Make friends w/ a good taxi driver w/ a newer or good running ordered vehicle and they'll be a great friend & resource for your journey (get their cell phone).
