  Hi fellow males,
  
  I have visited Rio for the last 20 years and finally bought a wonderful penthouse in Copacabana last year. I have read the reviews for Rio with great interest and now I would like to give my opinion as well.
  
  It seems to me that the general view is that Rio has gone down hill over the years and that it is now such an expensive horrible place that it is no longer worth visiting. I find that view rather odd! On the contrary, Rio has greatly improved over the last 20 years. Copacabana is safer then it used to be and Lapa is now a great area to go out and meet locals. Ipanema has some fantastic restaurants and the new metro is clean and safe. The beach is full of beautiful girls as it has always been and they are as friendly and sexy as ever.
  
  I understand that Help has gone down hill and the street girls aren't safe. The truth is that Help was never a great place and picking up a girl there, or on the street has never been safe. The local guys wouldn't do that - so why would you? The only safe place to have a good fuck in Rio is in one of the many "Termas" (as some of you have discovered). However, some guys here complain that it is too expensive. Well, it might be for a working class American who is shocked to learn that the US$ is now a third world currency! But the fact is that there is probably no other place in the world where you can have such a wonderful time with so many beautiful girls as in Rio!
  
  Of course, the best option is to learn a bit of Portuguese and find yourself a local beauty. Brazilian girls tend to like older men and it is not as difficult to meet them then you might think! Have fun. (Review # 22858)
