I was in Colombo at the end of February 2008, staying at Galadari Hotel.I could hardly wait to know about the night life in Colombo, so I got a Rickshaw taxi and landed at a Karaoke club called Pier something. We were three buddies. After paying 1000RS each which was strange for such a poor country, we got into a table and were immediately joined by three women. One was particularly beautiful and 'fat' by Sri Lanka standards. We took three beers each (Lion Lager)but each time the girls would ask for a drink, after getting our consent, they would go to the counter and return with a double vodka and red-bull.
After three rounds of drinks we got a bill of 22,000Rs. We were unhappy but we didn't show it. A bottle of Vodka should cost around 3000 Rupees if sold in tots on average even in the US. I joked with the lady to join me in my room and she said tomorrow. But we discussed with buddies and agreed never to step into a Karaoke Pub in Sri Lanka until we die. The music was good though. So was the floating club (its a kind of boat house).
Same night a hotel official (name withheld) asked if I wanted a Chinese girl for 50 dollars and I said why not. Had beautiful although mechanical sex for 30 minutes. She said I was too big (twice the size of a Chinese dick)but screamed like a banshee when I started pumping.
I jumped into a bus like a local on day three and bumped into a place called Tropicana beach. Paid 2500 Rs at the reception and picked one of the sari clad locals. The massage was amazing. This lady called Chandi (although she denied me straight entry) gave me a professional hand job after a thorough massage. She allowed me to squeeze her ass and rub her clit, while she rubbed her boobs all over my stomach, chest thighs etc. I came in four spurts. I paid her another 2000 RS for all that.
Bottom line. Colombo is too expensive. I have got better deals in Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur or Port Loius for the amount I spent. It is impossible to keep a 'girlfriend ' for a week , leave alone a full night. More importantly, the sex is nothing to write home about, but make sure you go to Tropicana Beach for some massage. Guys, another report from my recent trip to Colombia. After having spent a week in Cartagena, I went further east to Santa Marta to spend some days there in March, not really knowing what to expect.
First of all, Santa Marta is a small beautiful, safe city with lovely people. There is a nice beach front promenade where you can eat something, have a cold beer and watch the beautiful girls walk by. Furthermore, there are some nice sites and locations nearby worth visiting, such as El Rodadero, Taganga, Tayrona and the like.
As far as the action is concerned, it's small compared to Cartagena or Medellin, but there is some fun you should not miss while you are there.
There is a small street scene on Parque Bolivar, close to the beach promenade, but I would not really recommend that. The girls on average are ugly by Colombian standards, but check it out yourself.
In the center of Santa Marta, there is a recommendable night club named "Club Bananas", it's basically a strip club, many very beautiful girls there. You can take them out if you like, otherwise they have also rooms upstairs. Prices are average.
Also, outside the center in El Rodadero, there are some night clubs, e.g. Club Flamingo, Club Los Angeles etc. Go and check it out, every taxi driver will know those places. Action there starts around 11pm.
As far as regular girls in cafes, shops etc. are concerned, keep in mind that Santa Marta is not a top tourist destination, so people there are not yet spoiled. Just be treat them with respect, invite them for dinner, by them some drinks and they will treat you like a king.
