I just wanted to warn all prospective tourists into Vilnius: stay clear from strip bars. The city is far from what one would expect when it comes to action. I visited 2 bars. One, at the main street, was asking for a 30 euro entrance with girls topless only. It seemed quite busy but I did not enter. Next attempt at a bar also on the main street, called Cleopatra or something like that, next to a pizza place.

The bar was empty. I think they switched the lights on and had the girls dancing just when I was entering. The asked for a 30 euro cover charge. A lady's drink was 40 euro, a lap dance was 50 euros, and sex was in the range of 500 euro for 1 hour. I am not kidding they had a menu list with all prices quoted. Tried to negotiate, didn't work. Imagine that I visited the places on Sunday night during the lowest of seasons. Nothing in the streets either.

Most advertised bars were in the same price ranges also. I don't understand how things work in this otherwise beautiful city but don't go there with your dick hard. A couple of escorts I managed to find were asking for 300 euros for 1 hour. Finally gave up. If you decide to go make sure you know some people there that can point you to the right places, which I am sure they exist. If you go on your own be prepared to loose your shirt! Good luck

~~~~Checking the internet (and MBB came in just as swiftly as here in Toronto), I found condemnations of the area around the Vilnius train and bus stations as being "plagued" with hordes of prostitutes - some as young as eight years old from Belarus!
