This is not travelers report, but since I did not find any information about Lithuania, decided to give some background information.
Lithuania is a country which lies on the shores of the Baltic Sea. In the north it borders with Latvia, east, south-east - Belarus, south - Poland, south-west - Kaliningrad region (Russia).
Country's population - 3,7 million. 80 % of population - Lithuanians, 8% - Russians, 8% - Polish, 1% - Jews, 3% - others.
Capital city - Vilnius, pop. 500 thousand.
Currency - Lithuanian Litas which is pegged to US dollar. All prices divide by four and you get prices in dollars.
Prostitution in Lithuania:
Legal status - prostitution is illegal, despite this a lot of ""firms"" (as they call themselves) work in all major cities. Some of them are controlled by Mafia, some even by police (corrupted ones).
