What I have heard, read and experienced until now the two Red Light Districts in Frankfurt belong to the best and cheapest in whole Germany. My report was written on 7th January 2000. Lately (last 4 weeks) the police presence, especially in the quarter around the main railway station, has been reinforced. When I was there on 5th January 3 or 4 sex malls were closed there. I fear its because of the new, conservative state government (they promised law and order). I guess they try to get out the girls without valid visa and working permission by harder punishment against the sex mall "administrators". Hope the circumstances will change again in near future.
Around the railway station are exactly 13 sex malls (within the ones being closed at the moment). In each of them are working 20 to 80 girls. More than 90 % of them are foreigners. Mostly Spanish speaking from the Caribbean Islands, Colombia, Venezuela and brazil. The second largest ethnic group far behind Latin and south American are Thai, and the Asians are all Thai, even if they tell something different. On third are German and African girls. It has changed in the last years, Thai and African girls used to be more.
