Camp Allegre is the place to go if you want to get laid. I was there in October and took a cab from downtown Willemstad for $20 and $25 on the way back.

I have had a look at the reviews a few times about Curacao and I think it is time to clarify matters.
It is right that the location is MIRAGE (a.k.a. Campo Allegre). This is an old place (I believe from the 1950s) and probably one of the most famous is the Caribbean. In normal times there are about 100 - 150 women from South America and the Caribbean (and a one time even a few white Dutch) work here. The going rate: 30 US for 30 min.
This place is totally legal, and has a strict security system. I shoud drive here in your own car or hail a cab. Any person from Curacao (if he/she is not pulling your leg) knows very well where the place is.
Last year there has been a lot of publicity about Campo Allegre because the place was used as a front for money laudering. High-level politicians and officials were involved is this. There was also a squabble over the visas of the women working there.
However, the place is open for business.
(Could someone give an update on rates and women, including the weekly xxx shows, that used to take place on Wednsdays and Saturdays? My information is about a year old).
Apart from this, there are many places. Let me mention:
The Red Lion (the eastern part of Curacao). About 10-15 women (Dominicans, I recall). 50 US. Not the greatest place. Shows all the night.
La Taska and the area around this place in Fredriksstraaat. Cheap place with varting quality of the women. However, this is a place with a lot of life and dancing. All the women line up outside after the place closes.

Dec 2004- Visited Curacao for a week to relax. Fist night I visited La Mirada, the main club near the airport. A very safe place advertising over 100 girls to choose. A few friends and I traveled to Curacao for a week's vacation. We stayed at the Sheraton (the Mariott is the only other nice resort on the island). The island has several whore houses and clubs where you can find hookers. We only went to The Mirage, because everyone there said it was the best. Is located near the airport. We took cab rides there every time (about $15-$20 each way from our hotel). You can drive and park there, but outside there's some shady looking guys, so I wouldn't park my car there. These guys give you your 'cab' ride home. Their cars are old, and they aren't really cabs (on the way there you ride legit cabs, but it's the same price).
To enter, you walk through a medal detector and are frisked for cameras and weapons. You pay $3 (all my prices are in US, I'm American!) to get in. When you walk in, there are a bunch of cars parked inside (never asked why). Then there is a bar and dance floor. Drinks are cheap (if you like beer, the whole island only has 8oz. cans of Dutch beer). There are a lot of local black guys in the place. The girls are walking around the place or stay near there rooms.
This place is outdoors, except for their room that are in rows (like army barracks) All the girls are Hispanic (Columbia) or black (San Domingo I think we were told). unbelievable place on Curacao called "la mirada". I was in St. Maarten, the Dutch side, the end of September for 2 nights and had a real good time. Think " Dutch " and it will come as no surprise that prostitution and gambling are legal and there is a lenient attitude toward other non-violent vices. While these girls were pretty, they were all heavy. They are a little bit forward in making contact but not pushy. The next night I went to the " Casa Blanca ", which is just about 5 minutes drive farther down the same road from the Defiance Hotel. Plus, taxies can sometimes be hard to get at some of the out-of-the-way hooker bars. And you'll be paying way too much to get back into town.
I don't know much about Saint Martin, the French side. I've driven over there to visit some of the beach locations, but not much more. I don't need rudeness and arrogance when I'm looking for a good time. And, of course, everything is illegal on that side.

I noticed that you removed Curacao from your reports. It was only through your guide that I found and certainly enjoyed The Mirage. About 10 minutes from town, a couple of miles past the airport on the left, back off the road. It's a compound of 4's through 9's, each having there own little apartment. Cost is $30 for everything.
