I just returned from a 5 day trip to the Dominican Republic. After reading WSG's reports on the area, I bypassed Santo Domingo and headed right to the beach, Boca Chica. It is a short cab ride that will cost you about $15 US. I had reservations at the Hotel Zapata for 40 a night and stayed right on the beach. Be careful not to stay in the all inclusives as they do not permit guests. I would also stay away from the guest houses that are all over the place. They tend to be in dark areas and I heard stories about robberies.

Well, now for the good stuff. I have been to Brazil twice and Costa Rica once. I live in Florida, so Boca Chica is a short and cheap flight.
My first night, I was rearing to go and made the mistake of heading out around 7pm. NOTHING happens until at least 10pm, by which time I had 8 rums in me. I recommend the discos and you should see all shapes and sizes there. What struck me as amazing was the fact that EVERY female, be it the waitress, hostess, or barmaid is for rent, with NO exceptions. I was also taken by how much they look like whores, where in Costa Rica and Brazil, I had the impression I was picking up the hottest girl in the bar. The girls in DR are much cheaper than anywhere else I have visited. Full service starts at 50 for as long as you need. I rarely paid more than 30. Threesomes and more are readily available if you pay. Overall, I would say the trip was OK, but the amount of hassle you will get on the beach from the vendors, and the fact that if you don't keep your guard up, there is trouble to find you in the DR, mainly thieves and overcharging bars, I would pay the extra and go to Costa Rica or Brazil in the future. Wanted to give a little information from my hunting in Dominican Republic:
All of these places are near the Jarugua section of Santo Domingo. No more than a $5 cab ride from the Renaissance Hotel. All are incall/outcall service. Outcall is all night or until the girl knocks you out.
Mona Lisa: Definitely supposed to be one of the best places in town. Ranked with the Paublitos. I went was not that impressed. At a little tight hot bar area for drinks. Only had about 8 girls.
At 10pm, 90% look attractive but rode, if you get my drift. The girls ranged from 7-9. Pricing was about $100-150 incall for full service and $200-225 outcall for full service. You can walk to this place, but take a cab. It is a house on a side street near the hotel.
Casa Teresa/Rosado: These are two very similar locations. Very close to each other. The women here are definitely 8-10+s. I think Rosado is the better of the two. The only problem is the girls like to try to pull a quickie and leave before the night is over. It happened to me twice. I want be a fool the third time. The price is about $100 for full service.
Cafe Tabu: Behind the Renaissance Hotel, you can walk. Go out the back and look across the street. Basically action probably starts around 10pm. Was there early, and they were still coming in. They have a show at Midnight. Outcall only services available. The going rate was about $50-100. The girls ranged from not with my dick - 8.5. The percentage of lookers here was definitely in the minority. About 20 girls.

Lapsus: Next Door. More upscale of a place. Definitely better lookers 6-9. More weighted to the 7-8 categories. Diverse collection of Dominican Beauty. Also had show had 12pm. Had about 30 girls. Definitely surrounded you when you walked in. Price $75-100. Definitely a return spot. Had some good CGL ratios in there.
Casa de Modelo: The most hidden spot on Earth. But let me say that, if I ever quite going to Montreal, I will land here in this spot. A house turned into a parlor. Had rooms upstairs and sitting area down stairs. A little too much light, but when I saw two ex-Yankees at the bar, I knew I had hit the jackpot. 25-30 girls. No loosers. Probably 8-11. No joke. It took me about an hour or two to choose. The rate was a pretty stiff $100 for the night.
Had a young lady named Lauda (I think). Definitely worth it 34C-24-36. Hitting morena face that would stop time. Had a couple of hits on goal. Went down on the stick (BBBJ) and had no issues with instructing me on how to make her satisfied. Overall a definite keeper.

A notice to the report of Jimmy Dr about Santiago: If you need a hotel to go to with your girl, look for Camp David Hotel. It is quite far outside north of the town in the mountains, comfortable, prices about 40-55 $ a night (for the room), a good restaurant - with room service - and an amazing view of Santiago and the Cibao valley at day and at night. Most important, they don't care if you take a girl to your room; you don't need to pass a lobby and if keep your room key with you can directly go to your room. I have been there several times with my girl and there was never a problem to stay together in the room as much time as you like. Only problem (if it is a problem): you need a taxi to go downtown and return to the hotel, prices for the taxi range between 100 and 150 pesos (7-10$), maybe more if you come from Riverside Club which is on the other side of the town.
You can also find girls at the "car washes". These are real car washes at gas stations where there is also a cafeteria. One good place is a Texaco (?) gas station at the Avenida Sadhala, crossing with Avenida Duarte. Easy to find as there is also a MacDonalds. Girls are waiting at the station and sometimes inside at MacDonalds. I don't know anything about the prices but they will be cheaper as the girls in the clubs. But you need to speak at least a little bit Spanish. (Review # 1246)

Boca Chica is a 10 block strip with resorts and motels. Motels are $40 per night. There are dozens of girls out at night. First night had this girl for 2hrs for $30.
