COLOMBO: Some of the information on this website about Colombo is wrong. I have been going to Colombo since the early 1990s. I was back there a few weeks ago for two months. I suggest you keep an open mind about what you read on this website. Consider the possibility that much here is not exactly right and be alert. This helps to ensure you avoid unnecessary trouble. Here a few points to clarify: 1. THE OCEAN INN I’ve been to the Ocean Inn. Contrary to earlier reports on this Colombo page, the Ocean Inn is not actually a place to find girls. It is a place that rents out rooms by the hour. The idea is that you find the girl first and then take her there. This is what locals do. When you walk down the lane towards the Beach turn left. You can see the sign Ocean Inn. To the right is an abandoned house with homeless people hanging about. Don’t bother with them. They will try to play a game with you to get some money. If there is a three-wheeler outside the Ocean Inn, he will be able to take you to a place further south that has Lankan girls but it will cost you a bit to get there in his three-wheeler. Bargain hard! 2. LOCAL PUBS/HEALTH CENTRES If you want to go to a Health Centre try to go by yourself. There are lots of local men who will try to guide you to a place, but if they follow you inside then you will pay much more as he will be paid from the money you pay the Madam. There is one place in Sellamuttu Avenue, Kolpetty, Colombo 3 which is very close to the Galle Road. Walking towards the beach it is on your right. I think it is the one referred to by an earlier contributor to this page. I can’t remember the sign outside. It has the appearance of a run down pub. Inside were about 20 girls dressed in sarees, quite attractive ranging in age from early 20s to 30s. Hi, Just to clarify about places Colombo Dude has mentioned which Helper could not find.
Sakura health centre is a massage parlour on Galle Road opp the Liquor shop in Wellawate. The entrance to this place is difficult to find as it is not very visible and the place is also rather dirty.
The Eastern scissors is right opposite Liberty Plaza and you have to climb stairs.
The Ocean Inn is right down a narrow lane at the beach. Please turn from Senkada food place in Bambalapitiya and drive down right to the end. By the beach you will get this hotel on your left.
The new place is on the 8th floor of Liberty plaza and another guy has given an excellent report.

448 Galle Rd 6 does not exist, there is a petrol station (Ramakrishna rd) junction.
Hotel Impress or Empress on Duplication rd is now totally gutted for renovation work.
This leaves me with no info on anywhere in Colombo. Maybe the ones in Dehiwala & Mt. Lavinia are good but I am looking for action in Colombo.
Went and checked a massage place at 13 Adams Avenue which was listed in yellow pages, very nice girl and an excellent massage for Rs.1200 (45mins) but nothing more.
Plan to check out the Tropi Hotel on Sellamuttu Ave (between Hotel Renuka), the Eastern scissors next to Liberty plaza and Ocean Inn which were mention by others.
