Hi guys, just got back from the phils. This was my first time, but it won't be my last; visited Jan. of 2000. The best action is on p. Burgos st.; all of the bars are walking distance (I stayed at the century citadel) and all are lots of fun with lots of girls who will treat you very nice, so treat them well in return. As for the hotel you stay at, I recommend the century citadel; they didn't give me a problem with having girls up to my room, the room rates were very reasonable, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect in that I never needed a taxi to get to the bars. Now as for the bars, all I can say is wow! I had a great time everywhere I went but I do recommend some a little more, although you cant really go wrong anywhere. ~~
The first place I went to was cafe mugambo; it was around 5 in the afternoon and I dropped in for dinner. The food was good, but lets face it, I'm not there to eat food. The girls are low pressure, which was cool and they are willing to sit back while you make a selection, which beats the hell out of getting gang tackled. The music is great and the girls even do a little dance number to certain songs which was pretty cool. The girls can be barfined for approx. 8 Or 10 drinks and they will stay all night if you want. Final review: one of my favorites
The next night was geronimo shot bar; another great time. Low pressure place and the girls were gorgeous. Same prices and same great service as mugambo; the girls had the best costumes here though, the place had an old west Indian theme and the girls costumes were kind of a pocahontas thing that was very sexy; you can even get up and dance with the girls which was a blast (imagine being the pole in a strip bar at home). Buy mama san a few drinks and she will bring the best girls over. Final review: great place
The next night I went to banditos; this place is owned by the same guys who own mugambos and geronimos, so the system is the same. There is more of an emphasis on dancing girls here and that is cool. There are also girls roaming around the bar in cute little black dresses looking for drinks but they will not pressure you. I felt at home at this place and will definitely be back. Final review: if you liked the mugambos and geronimos, you will like this place as well.
Another bar is bottoms; it is on the same strip. There is more pressure here, you will be surrounded the second you walk in and that may not necessarily be a bad thing depending on your tastes. I however do not like being ganged up on however; the prices here are higher than the other places and you have to watch your bill. You could easily spend a couple hundred dollars here before you find your mrs. Right for the evening, so be careful. There are not as many girls here, but the are mostly 7 to 9s. Final review: good time, but you pay through the nose.
I also went to rouges; maybe I hit them on the wrong nite, but this was strictly a one beer and out place. It was expensive and I had an ugly chic that refused to leave me the hell alone. The mama san was a little too pushy as well. I thought if I ignored them, they would leave me alone to have my beer and keep looking, but no such luck here. Final review: skip it.
A few final notes on makati: the dollar goes a long way here guys; it is a long haul from the usa (midwest) but it is totally worth it. My only regret was that I could only spend 6 nights here. I only reviewed 5 bars, but there are plenty more on this little street. At the time I visited the phil. Peso was trading at 39 or 40 to 1 us dollar, what a bargain! The girls here get a little possessive and they seem to be looking for a way out (that means you are the way out)but that seems understandable. These girls will treat you with love, respect and not try to haggle you to the last dollar, so treat them well, they deserve it. Overall, this was one of the best vacations I've ever had and I will return as soon as my finances permit. If you want to know what it feels like to be the biggest stud in town, try this place out, these girls cant get enough of you.~~ (Review # 1406)

I traveled to San Juan on business the first week of December 1999. Having traveled there before, I became familiar with two interesting and fun brothels. Both are adjacent to the Condado area. I am sad to say that the Black Angus is closed. Its reputation for being one of the best whore houses has faded into history. I had hauled my ashes there as a young Marine, and then some 30 years later, rediscovered the carnal pleasures on business trips in '96 - '98. There would be as many as 60 girls on a Saturday night, asking for $50 of a half hour, but usually accepting $40. Most of the girls were from Columbia, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic. However, there were some PR girls there, and you could spot them with their tighter bodies and more bold attitudes. The cost of the room was $15 plus $1 tip for towel/soap. It was a carnival atmosphere watching the girls go up and down the stairs in high heels and skin tight mini dresses. Just down the street and around the corner from the old Clarion Hotel, was another bar/brothel, the Doral. Fewer girls, some not so pretty, and a might cheaper - you get what you pay for.
Both the Black Angus and the Doral are being torn down, they are gutted, and along with it a lot of memories of some very pleasurable grunts and groans. So, I had to call an escort service listed in the San Juan Star. I spent an enjoyable hour with a 21 year old blond from Caracas, with a very tight body (5' 3"), enjoyed a half and half, but only after I went down on her for 25 minutes and rocked her world (her stomach and pussy contractions were for real as she got off a good one). She sucked and licked me without a condom, but then quickly put it on for the main event. I lasted 10 minutes on top of her as I was pushing for gold in her tight little box until nirvana rung through my body. Makati - Yes, P Burgoes St. is the place to be. Bar by Bar review....
1) Cafe Mogambo - A great place to start the evening. ""Because it's a jungle out there"" is their motto. Which means these guys are not as high pressured. This is a place where you sit on barstools (or table) and the girls are behind the counter. They usually don't approach you and if you give the slightest hint you are not yet ready to talk, they leave you alone. That is not the case anywhere else. Good western food. Girls quite willing to break the ice with Balut (a dice game) or Jenga. If you see one you like, they can be bar fined for appx. 800 pesos. Went here many times, drank too much and wound up with a new friend! A place to go if you don't want aggressive woman all over you. (great bar music)
Hollywood - Nearby Mogambo, this place does not usually have many woman working. Many who do are quite young. A pushy place to say the least and not one I visit often.
Grand Prix - a sister club to Mogambo, except the girls are more frisky here. There is a show element to their presentation.
Dimples - extremely friendly place. dancers sway back and forth and they will approach you in pairs. not much experience here.
Bottoms - Wow! This place has elements of many clubs. There are many fine girls on the stage dancing and many among the crowd. Many extremely beautiful. A favorite amongst Canos (Americans) this place does rock. More expensive than most clubs, bar fines here will set you back $1500 pesos. Caution - watch you tab! It is not hard to run a bill into the $100's of dollars!
Tickles - A spin-off of Bottoms that is probably the raunchiest club in Makati. Bare flesh is sometimes seen here. Young, newly beginning girls in the club scene can be found. Expensive place and my cautions mentioned above apply.
Ivory - Known as the place to find the youngest woman. Not too many girls over 21 here. This place is a bit more no nonsense and can get quite expensive. Still, many very nice looking woman.
Rascals - This place excels in dancing. Friendly, and not the most pushy place. I don't have much experience here.
Ritzy's - Perhaps can boast having the most woman. Large stage in which 30 woman at a time will dance. Place caters a bit too much to the Japanese for my taste, but it is possible to meet some nice ladies here. Tends to be expensive.
High Heels Club - Other members posting warn of this place. Warnings are somewhat valid, it is a bit lower on the scale to be sure. Still, not exactly dangerous.
Jools - The most known place on the Burgoes strip. Known to haven some of the best looking woman and largest floor shows. Expensive and aggressive.
Nightwatch - Truly a unique place. Models here practice hours a day on their routine and dance solo and in group form. Semi professional. There is a R rated element to it. Some of the woman are legendary beauties. Reasonable and friendly, this is a place that welcomes repeat business! (Review # 411)
