January, 2000 after the Ramadon Holiday season there was some trouble in Lombok. Some of the Muslim population got all fired up over some violence in other parts of Indonesia and started burning and tearing up Chinese, Christian and Foreign owned businesses and churches. All started by some bone heads from Jakarta who were trying to make the new Indonesian government look bad.
Unfortunately for the beautiful people of Lombok their little tourist island is now like a ghost town. The Marina Pub was burnt to the ground and some other businesses in Sengiggi Beach were ruined as well. All in all the tourist industry was probably the big dollar ticket for this little island and is now at a stand still. It appears all of the transplanted girls from Java, etc have gone home and on to other areas to make money. There are still a lot of the local girls around, my preference anyway. Most of the big hotels have only a few guests. I believe the trouble is over, still some racial tension, all in all not too bad. Go to the Graha Ayu hotel in Mataram. This hotel is in town and not at the tourist area. It has nice rooms and the room boy staff will get you whatever you need. a long time alone at your table. Very soon some of the very nice young

Recently took some R&R in Indonesia, I started off looking at Bali but was then convinced by my travel agent that Lombok, next island toward the east, was the new Bali, less developed and not as noisy. Well I went for it and was not disappointed. The overall costs of traveling to and staying at Lombok is cheaper then Bali. No worries there are plenty of young ladies to play doctor with. Most of the Hotel people speak English so getting what you want is easy. The employees won't come to visit your room after hours but they will certainly have a sister or maybe a cousin who will. I stayed along Sengiggi Beach and went to a club called the Marina. Basically a disco and the action starts around 10pm, this place seemed to be controlled by a pimp, transvestite, very good looking but know that there is a penis under that skirt. Anyway there are a lot of beautiful girls there for about $50 US for an all nighter. The girl I took home was very small and cute but didn't speak a word of English. Once back to my room though our tongues were so tangled no one could speak anyway. She fucked me hard and fast the first time then we slowed down and enjoyed the second one.
