Price: ¥100-130 Asian Rate (Short Time)/¥150-300 Caucasian Rate (Short Time)

Age Group: 18-24
-Action can still be found in this area opposite Luohu Cun.
Need touts to bring you up to apartment rooms to view.
Generally safe as business is conducted very discreetly similarly like in the past.
Besides PRCs also have foreign stocks available.

Luohu Cun (罗湖村)
Price: ¥100-130 Asian Rate (Short Time)/¥150-200 Caucasian Rate (Short Time)

-At 15:00hrs totally no BBS girls loitering around the back alleys at all like in the past.
Called up a trusted mamasan and was informed nowadays business must be conducted in a very low profile mode due to frequent raids.
Action starts only at night. Returned at 19:00hrs only to see police patrolling the area.
Definitely a no go in current situation due to safety aspect.

Xiangxi Cun (向西村)
Price: ¥150 Asian Rate (Short Time)/¥150-200 Caucasian Rate (Short Time)

-At 19:30hrs totally no BBS girls loitering around the back alleys at all like in the past.

Xiangxi Cun always have better quality stocks than Luohu Cun.
Not too sure about that now.

SUMMARY: In general the BBS scene in Shenzhen, Changping and Zhuhai is nothing like when compared to 4 years ago.
Authorities are trying very hard to exterminate these low end monger places as it's too in your face and open unlike the Saunas and KTVs.
One thing for sure is the BBS price in Shenzhen and Zhuhai remained the same throughout all these years!
In 2008 it was ¥130 (Short Time). In 2012 it's still ¥130 (Short Time).
BBS price in Changping is way overpriced. Currently ¥250 (Short Time) at Swan Lake Road (Tian E Hu) BBS.
There're cheaper (lesser than ¥100) BBS places in CP but I shall not go into that as the quality is below 5/10.

Nonetheless some of the Shenzhen BBS stocks are generally very attractive and good quality.
In Changping those Eurasia (Ou Ya)/Yi Hao KTV category 3-7-10 hostesses pales in comparision which is mostly 5.5-6/10 in looks.
So enjoy these last few remaining sparodic pockets of cheap BBS in South China while it lasts!

ShenZhen first time trip report 2012. Took train from Hong kong. After SZ customs a guy ask me if I need a taxi. Agreed and gave him the address I had written on the paper. He charged me 400 RBM like $80 USD for a 40 RMB ride plus he wanted tip. I will know better next time. Did not understand chinese money. The place for action is immediately when you cross the border. The price is 200 RMB. The mamason will find you or just walk around the hotels. Ignore the masason that do not understand what it means to be discrete. Some of these mommys are so anxious for money they will make a huge scene. Screaming BEAUTIFUl YOUNG LADY ect. If you are not chinese the whole town is looking at you. Would like to find some new places past the border though for next time. NOTE- if you can not speak alittle chinese you might not like Shenzhen. Everything will be hard. Taxi drivers speak no english and the girls speak no english. Even the hotels speak no english/
