First time coming very soon. I know to book apartment to bring back but but do you book the apartments for 1 or 2 ? Does it matter if you intend to bring back girls to the hotel? Thanks.

Just book it for yourself. Ive never had a problem with taking someone back. Just make sure they have their ID to check in with at the "gate" you don't need to go to reception with them. Sai Rock is almost empty, and indeed Mombasa is dead right now, very very few tourists. Not that it will matter to you.

Thanks robert...... they offered 9075 for a rate at the apartment. I asked for their best rate as their aren't many visitors. They offered 10% off that. Isn't lower than this possible and expected this time of year? What should I shoot for?

9000ks lol tell them where to go. I used to pay 3000ks and the max 4500ks in high season. Try Kahama hotel, google it. You should get something for 5000ks max off them. Mombasa is empty right now. You could get an apartment in Mtwapa at Luck apartments for 3000ks. They are on facebook but are slow to answer, they may have a phone number there im not sure.
The problem is in Kenya they are thick as fuck and when nobody is there they put the price up instead of down to attract people.

They never replied when I said I'm insulted by their offer. said I would do 4k tops and they didn't respond. Screw em as I set up the Kahama Hotel. I'm actually in Nairobi waiting for my flight that was supposed ot leave at 930 which is now 1 pm. Sucks but whatever, when i get there all will be good.

I paid 4500 per night there at Kahama's. It was ok but the breakfast I have to say left a lot to be desired. There were ants all over my table and placemat when I sat down. The bar was nice on a Thurs night for karaoke, but you need to bring your own chick in.

4500 is the going rate so you got the right price. there are no value for money places in mombasa these days tbh.
