Recent trip to CTG - Feb 2012

I just got back from a short vacation to Cartagena. What a flight! 2:30 am left for Panama with a 4.5 hour layover before heading to Cartagena. I had been to Cartagena once before but that was about 7 or 8 years ago so I was looking forward to seeing the place again. Arrived in Cartagena at 12:30pm, grabbed a taxi and headed to the apartment in the tourist zone El Laguito. Stayed in 2 different apartments that I rented from Juan Ventura at http://www.venpro.net/fotosapartamentos/english.htm Both apartments were great. Fantatstic locations with varandas overlooking the ocean. I will definitely recommend Juan and his apartments to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Cartagena.

I got settled in and went for a walk around the area to see if I could recognize places. El Laguito was not hard to recognize as the area has changed very little since my last visit. Some apartment buildings were now completed, a business or 2 were no longer around, but all in all it looked very much the same. I went to get some cash and found the only ATM that worked for me was the CitiBank in BocaGrande. None of the other ATM’s in BocaGrande or El Laguito worked for me.

Ok lets’ talk about the ladies. I did go into Centro but only saw Bananas and it was not open when I was there. I was traveling alone so I didn’t want to run around Cartagena at night and kept my nights out to LDV and area. LDV had not changed either. The bar that is. Doesn’t get started until midnight. There did seem to be A LOT MORE silicone there this time. I would say at least 50% of the girls at LDV had their TnA done. That said there was some very fine chicas there. Price ranged from $200k - $300k pesos. I usually spent $200k-$230k with one topping out at $250k…and she was well augmented! I even had 2 girls that didn’t talk about money at all! I did slip them an appropriate amount in the am thanking them for a wonderful time and to buy themselves something nice from me. There was a girl one night that I was talking to that told me $300k so I asked what she did that was special as the going rate seemed to be $200k. She said she gave the best bj going and I could do anything I wanted. Something made me ask if the bj was bbbj and she responded no, only bj with condom. I told her I was sorry but I didn’t like a bj with a condom as it was too difficult to feel anything. We talked back and forth and she wouldn’t budge so we parted ways. I just couldn’t imagine $300k and getting a covered bj.

I did check out the beach scene but didn’t see a lot going on. Mostly families or groups, but few single/groups of ladies. All the “touts” could get me anything or anyone I wanted though…according to them. I guess because the nightlife started so late the girls don't wakeup until the afternoon. lol. All in all I had a great time and will definitely go again. Maybe next time with a wingman or 2 and check out Centro!

Based on my expierences at LDV you paid a good & fair price.
The quality chicas are getting 200-300k, end of story.

Sounds very expensive to me $150 to $200 is way too much.

I was in Cartagena in January, it´s definitely more expensive than Bogotá, I did some research and did not find much on the net, the best way to find places is to ask the taxi driver. You can find good girls from 75$ USD.
