Sosua - Looking for general tips for a first timer

Hey everyone, I'm going to Sosua for the first time and I'm looking for a little general information. My questions range all over the place, so please answer what you can if you have a moment or two. Thanks.

1. I've been to San Jose, Costa Rica a few times. It was recommended that you don't bring any large bills down there because they're not accepted by hotels, etc. Is it the same in Sosua? Do I need a huge pile of twenties or can I bring the more manageable large bills?

2. Being that it's my first time, I'm staying at the New Garden. Got a room for $60/night. Basic room in the old wing. Are they decent or should I upgrade to the New wing? Are the jacuzzi rooms nice? I wouldn't mind paying a little more if it will enhance the experience. But if it's negligible, I'll stay in the basic room. I'm going for a total of 6 nights.

3. I know about Passions and the CMP Night Club and plan on hitting each one at least once. Are there any other places like 'em in Sosua? Do any of the bars have lesser operations? i.e. Just a few girls working with a few empty rooms available?

4. At this point in Sosua, are there independent girls available for pick up in most of the bars, providing you go late enough at night?

5. Options in the sack: Specifically, If I pull a girl at Passions or CMP, is an uncovered bj fine? Eating pussy? GFE? Anal? I heard that negotiation is not allowed at those places, so I'm curious what is specifically offered.

6. Weed or whatever. If someone was interested in getting a little weed or whatever (not me, this is just a theoretical question. . . is that relatively easy? Is it too dangerous in relation to the criminal element or johnny law?

In my opinion,

1. I usually don't bring large amounts of cash. I usually just get money from the ATM. The exchange rate goes by what you see on Yahoo for the day which is better than you will get from any restaurant or hotel. If you want to bring large amounts of cash, don't bring too many large bills. The will exchange them and you will get screwed on the rate.

2. The New Garden, I would upgrade to the new wing. The water pressure is much better and the jacuzzi room is cool. I always seemed to have problems with the shower and toilet in the old wing. (Not fun when entertaining a chica)

3. Basically, all the clubs in Sosua are all on one strip. You will find what you want. Passions is safe for a newbie. Learn the lay of the land before you really start venturing. Bitches steal!!! That's all you need to know. Lock you shit up! You should have that problem with Passions chicas cause Peter wont tolerate it.

4. See the answer for number 3. You can get All Night for about $75 from an Independent. As you meet and do more the price will go down. (unless you talk to youcantoo...)
5. Negoitate up front. If she gives you any shit, ask her to leave and don't give here shit.
6. MOST IMPORTANT, DON"T FUCK WITH DRUGS IN DR. I have a friend that just got shaken down by the police for the whole trip over a $10 bag of weed. Was not funny. Cost him over $5000. I thought he would just die when the captain was waiting at the airport for him. It's not worth it at all.

I hate to differ from Silicon surfer because he probably is a nice guy but here goes for what its worth. I agree with everything he said cept for a couple things. I always get some C and M when i am in DR, never had a problem. Once I meet a girl that I get along with and everything is going well, I ask her if she likes whatever I want, if she does , I ask her to get the stuff. I give her money and send her on her way. I have never had a problem. But thats me, I also rent a car every time I go and drive all over the place, Some people are afraid of this. I am not. I would never personally got out and buy stuff, but I have done it all with the girls from DR, once they know your cool, they love to hang with a guy that likes what they like. Frank, with no dirsrepect, I am guessing you are in your late 60 to 70's not everyone or the girls are on your level. I have never had a problem with Rnr. never that I can remember. He is reasonable. Well let see youcantoo,if i can shead some light.first i am fifty,and have been going to the DR,for ten plus years.Now any long time poster can attest,that RR and myself,dont do the normal travel shit,most on this board do,our circle of friends on the island run a vast range,from retired americans to dominicans of every social/economic group.Over the last several years,i have provided much info,as well as RR.The thing that pisses me off,is why someone would encourage people to seek out drugs in a third world country?
