I'm going every year to Pattaya and I always have a great time. However, when I read some posts on this site, I'm amaized to see how many cheap Charly are out there. I'm disgusted when someone is proud to say that he didn't pay anything for a girl. These girls are working hard and they deserve respect and to be paid. Because of their pride, they will almost never ask for money but it doesn't mean they do it for free !! May be with Leonardi Di Caprio, but not with you or me !

I would like to get some professional opinion on the subject from the regulars in Pattaya (not from cheap charlies please !).

Is the BF for a bar girl still BHT 200 and for a go-go girl around 500 ? As far as I know, the girl doesn't get a share of the BF. Is that so ?

Beside the BF, what is the "tip" for a short time (1-2 hours) with a bar girl ?
With a go-go dancer ?

What is the "tip" for the entire night for a bar girl ? For a go-go dancer ?

Someone wrote shortly that he paid the BF only for the first night and he kept the girl for the week but didn't pay the BF again. That's not the way it works and you have to pay the barefine every day otherwise the girl will get in trouble. The newcomers are welcome to Pattaya of course, but some "rules of engagment" should be known by everyone.

Good point Superdud, Most of the beer bar girls I have been with are quite happy with a 500baht and 100 baht tip short time or 1000baht 200baht tip long time.Gogo girls the price will vary,most gogo girls like short time only(1000baht+200tip) and if do find one to go long time 1700 to 2500baht. If you would like to take some photos offer your lady some extra baht and you might get lucky and take home a few momentos!

I always pay 500 b ST and 1000 b LT for beer bar girls and freelancers – obviously for beer bar girls you have to pay the bar fine first apart from that.

If their performance is very good I sometimes give them 100 b on top of that, but that’s only for the outstanding performers. Average performers, starfish and the like only get the standard 500 b ST / 1000 b LT.

Gogo girls ask usually for more, but I normally try to avoid gogo girls, not really for the extra expense but because I like to see what I get and the lighting in most gogos is crap and you can’t normally evaluate how cute the girls are. I hate hunting in the dark.

500 b ST / 1000 b LT is a fair payment. In Pattaya non-pros who work as waitresses, sales assistant, etc get paid around 5000-6000 b per month putting in usually over 50 hours per week, so if we pay the pros 1000 b per LT that looks like a fair payment considering the salaries and the cost of living in Thailand.

Hmmm, Gladiator I can't agree with you that just because wages for waitresses and sales assistants seem extremely low by our western standards to pay the bar girls equivelently. Waitresses and shop assistants will give you the same attention back home but I'm sure the beautiful girls who work in the bars are more accommadating to you in LOS. To give them a little bit more credit than to just relate them to waitresses or shop assistants is fair.
I personally give atleast 1000bht ST or 1500bt LT but what is just as important is to buy drinks and meals and respect them.

I sgree with bro butcher when we can pay 500 ST /1000 LT and tip 100 -200 and they or happy then we should not pay more because it will be going up all the time and the fun of coming LOS for good price will be gone.
I treat them nice buy them drink or dinner is ok but please don't pay the base rate more.

I'm happy with what I give and even happier with the gratitude I recieve. In terms of "over paying" I think we should all remember just how much we are giving. I think we have all seen the tourist squabbling with a market vendor over a few baht and thought how pathetic to argue over so little when you relate it to money back home.
I am certainly not suggesting what others should give, just informing what I enjoy giving.
And if you read all the posts on this thread I think I am the one who is moaning the least butcher.

Prices are up slightly in Pattaya. They are cashing in on the tsunami.
Bar fines at 200 are hard to find now. 250-300 for a bar and some go-gos are looking for 1000 and up.
I was there three weeks ago and everything is up in price including food.
Example, eating in tops in November a T bone steak cost 149 Baht, now 230 Baht.

I have noticed the girls getting greedy too. In soi 6 a 500 Baht st has turned into "how much you can pay"

But I guess everyone is cashing in, the biggest culprits are the farang bar owners themselves. But the general opinion is, next year the tourists will go back to Phuket.

That means that you are overpaying, spoiling the chicks and spoiling the paradise.

That is how Bangkok started to get spoilt, because of all the overpayers, part-time mongers, white knights, and look at it now, you can't find any cutie for less than 2000 B LT and they are mostly fully certified hardcores because the more you pay them the greedier and more hardcore they become.

I agree that it's best to stick to ST, I usually stick to ST myself, I always leave the options open for the girl regarding ST/LT and I only keep for LT those who are exceptionally good, so I do only ST with the majority in order to have more freedom of movement and more orgasms ready for different girls.

In this last trip that I've just done, out of the 13 girls I hunted I did LT only with 3 of them - I'd like to have done LT with 2 of the others but they couldn't stay for the night.

I think LT should be done only with the really good girls so that you can enjoy a guaranteed good session as soon as you wake up in the morning.

That's another drawback of overpaying: they think you are stupid, it doesn't matter if they smile at you and say you're a good man and similar BS, at bottom they think you are a sucker, which in fact is what you are if you pay above the going rates.
