    Hotel with internet

Sunshine Vista Serviced Apartments should meet your needs. They are on Soi 3. Really just like a hotel.

    Internet card

I never used in Pattaya but in bkk I buy one internet card for 199 bt. and it last for long time and most cards valid for 3/6 12 months. Some hotels(Ambassador hotel in Bkk) charge 10 bt for local call no time limit. These cards come with cd to instal.
Check with hotel for local call charge.

    Sorry to say that
The Roof Garden Inn does not have Internet in their rooms,
They do though have a very good highspeed Satellite Internet Connection
    downstairs near the foyer.

I can certainly recommend the hotel though, Very guest friendy and very nicely furnished.Three or Four Star quality at Two star prices.

i was looking to stay for a month or so,if you know a place please inform me.if i found a nice place decently priced i might stay longer.
remember i need to be able to connect in the room.
    location is not that important.

Kaiser1 (or anyone), I have the same needs as "m zungo" regarding Internet in room, but I am preferably interested in a condo for a period of 3-6 months, and reasonably priced. Any ideas? By the way, are broadband an option in Thailand?

i would search the web best bets are name hotels, for 20 -50 $ per night it is unlikely, but check amari hotel they had a rate of 68$ or hardrock ,jw marriott etc these are likely the only ones with internet in room, but there are so many cafes you dont need it there.

I've stayed at Roof Garden Inn 5 times in the last two years. You can connect via the telephone to loxinfo, the relatively slow but dependable dial-up network in your room. They will charge a similar 10-15 baht fee per call if you ask the management. The rooms are quite reasonable at 650 baht or about $16 US and the bathrooms are very clean and top notch in all respects.
I won't be staying there again because they have a 200 baht fee for the third guest in the room. I took three back once in October and suddenly a 650 baht hotel becomes a 1050 baht hotel. And frankly, it is a little bit out of the way when you're staggering home in the late night hours.
If you must have high speed internet, the Siam Bayshore and Marriot both have it but are both between $75-$100. And they have the nerve to charge you an extra $10-15 per day for the internet connection! Bella Villa Prima up on Soi 3 has a wifi system, but I have not stayed there. They are probably the only option under $50 per night that offers DSL in your room.

    Good luck,
    WISteve
