Tourism via brotherls is not a good idea. I think you might want to say that there should be bars or hang out places where singles could meet and on their choice could go one step further for fun and not for money. This is based on whole privacy concept which is missing in India right now. Any police-man can harass you for no reason and even worst might slap you if you are dressed poorly. Trust me, none on any of the message boards, knows Indian politics, because it is like Mafia and there is no God Father as writer.

some info re. Delhi. Kalkaji is where several so called "parlours" are located. Ring the no. (fromTOI or HT) and ask where its located. He'll ask for your location first. Mainly to estimate the distance from his place and the time you are likely to take to reach him. You can name any location. He'll give you a landmark eg. Deshbandhu college, Gate 3. He'll ask you to reach there and call him again. When you do that he'll ask you what you are wearing. He will then tell you to wait as he is sending someone to pick you up. That someone will land up in five minutes, make eye contact and ask you to follow. The place may be C or D grade. I have yet to see a B let alone A. He will then show you the "staff". Seldom better than 4 or if you are lucky 5. Usually a massage with "hand discharge". She may take off her top if you ask her. Will cost more. She may give a BJ too if you ask her and again will cost more. She'll be worried that the provider might get to know and take away her cash. Not a great time but there it is for what its worth. Prostitution racket busted; pimp, two girls arrested

New Delhi, August 17: The Crime Branch busted a prostitution racket and arrested its pimp Mohammad Shokeen and two prostitutes during a raid at Kalkaji here yesterday evening. Shokeen, working as part-timer at a beauty parlour at Greater Kailash Part II, was running the racket from a rented flat at Kalkaji.

A decoy fixed a deal with Shokeen at Rs 2,500 per girl for an hour. Suddenly, the police team, hiding nearby, arrested him.



Of the prostitutes, one was working at a dance bar in Mumbai and landed here after the Maharashtra government’s prohibition.

The other was working at a beauty parlour in Guwahati and came here about three years back.

On a seemingly dull Thursday night, we moseyed over to South Delhi to check out a few clubs but most were empty. So we went to one of the smaller pubs in South Extension. Don’t go there expecting to rub shoulders with the suave set. What you get here are college students, club staff, airline personnel, clubbers who are cruising around for ‘afters’ and men who hope to ‘get lucky’, thereby earning these parties the reputation of a hooker bar! Not a safe place for a girls’ night out; these parties are almost always peopled with ‘friendly females’ who want to earn a fast buck and any gal is considered fair game … yet, the façade wasn’t sleazy; everyone was having a blast! Whether it was picking up women (or men!), dancing, drinking or making out..!

Anti-prostitution laws in for drastic revamp

NEW DELHI: The government is planning to revise anti-prostitution laws drastically to provide for the imprisonment and fine for anyone caught with prostitutes and to drop provisions, which make soliciting a crime. The existing law provides for action only against prostitutes.

The amendment, proposed by the department of women and child and awaiting cabinet clearance, provides for three-month imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,000 for the patrons. The department has also proposed to do away with Sections 8 and 20 of the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act (ITPA), which makes soliciting a punishable offence.

The proposed change is being justified on the grounds that most sex workers are victims of circumstances. The perception that most engage in prostitution due to compulsions has also led the department to drop Section 20 of ITPA, which provides for the eviction of prostitutes.

The punishment for traffickers, however, is proposed to be made stringent. Those convicted will face imprisonment upto 10 years and fined Rs 1 lakh. As in the case of the Money Laundering Act, the proposed law seeks to confiscate all the property of those guilty of trafficking.

The existing law provides for confiscation of property above Rs 3 lakh. To control largescale human trafficking in the country, the new proposal talks about setting up a central nodal agency like a Central Narcotics Bureau.



Simultaneously, the definition of human trafficking has been broadened in the new proposal prepared under the guidelines of the United Nations Convention against Trans-national Organised Crimes.

Under the broader definition, trafficking in persons shall mean the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion for purpose of exploitation.

Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.

The existing law deals only with sexual slavery. The new law will introduce for the first time the definition of a child as any person below the age of 18 years.

Finnish man arrested in New Delhi for playing porn movies too loud
NEW DELHI -- A Finnish man and his Indian girlfriend were arrested in India after neighbors complained that they were playing pornographic movies with the volume turned up too loudly, a police officer said Wednesday.

Exhibiting pornography and possessing pornographic materials are illegal in India. If convicted, the two could face three months in prison and a fine.

The two were arrested Monday night at the Finnish man's home in the town of Gurgaon, a center of India's information technology and outsourcing business, the officer said on condition of anonymity.

Aside from arresting the couple, officers also seized a television and CD player, he said.

The couple, who were not identified, were granted bail Tuesday.

No date has been set for the hearing, said the police officer. (AP)
