I have been to Thailand several times, and I am going to Indonesia next month (Oct).

I'd say Thailand is much more available but not as good quality as Indonesia. I went to check out the BJ bars on Patpong and was not impressed with the looks of the women or the commercial feel of the place. Consult info. on the WSG about Indonesia.
Both are good, and cheap. Patpong has few beautiful girls. I went there many times and was dissapointed. Go to Nana and I found more beautiful girls. For even more beautiful girls go to the massage parlour. Never let a cab driver take you to a crummy massage parlour or Karaoke. These are invariable places with no beautiful girls and a big fat tab to pay the cab driver comission. Instead, I recommend these places:
Bangkok:
-Chaopraya 1 or 2
-Emmanuelle near Emerald hotel Bangkok
-Hi-class, right next door
-Honolulu Rama 9 near RCA
Remember to not let let middle man(cab/tourguide) take a cut so go there yourself.
Just say the place like you've been there and not listen to anyone else's suggestion.
Prices are 1300-2000bt. Superstar maybe 200 or more extra. A tourguide took us there and it was 3500 bt! I went the next day and it was 1700bt.

I have been to BKK more than JKT, but, the Thai scene is jaded in a way that the Indonesian scene is not.
The Indonesian language is in Roman script, also unlike Thai, it is phonetically pronounced, and not tonal, it borrows from dutch in many words.
The girls are unique (remember some may even be muslims in mufti!) in that they are the closest thing you'll come to a GFE in all of the mongering universe. Usually, you can meet a gaggle of cuties, spend the night enjoying their company, choose one, or two! Go home and get sex that seems somehow more 'honest' than the offerings in BKK.
They are happy to negotiate, and will accept room service meals,
very cheap compared to the west, or a shopping trip the morning after (they choose you pay, but they will usually go to a local mall not Chanel! are there many people who speak English in Jakarta? I notice that a lot of younger Thais can speak pretty good English because they learn it in school. I only have internet experience with the Indonesians and their English was not very good.
I found a lot of inexpensive hotels located in Bangkok for $25 to $30. I could not find those kinds of places when I searched on the internet for Jakarta. So the money you save on the women you may pay for in the more expensive hotel. Maybe I am wrong but I would also like more information on Jakarta hotel prices and air fare to Jakarta from LA. China Air has a Bangkok/LA roundtrip special this month for $565...and Jakarta? There are a lot more things to think about (like the total trip price) than just the sex cost.
