Am visiting New Orleans and would welcome suggestions for places/women to check out. Does anyone know if Bangkock Spa is still open? I heard the police raided it a while back. Is it safe?

vietman, you can negotiate down to $140 for FS. Not all the women go for FS--I think it depends on the customer.
Have been to the Bang several times, I Don't miss a trip by there if I'm in the Quarter. Sometimes if you lucky you can snag a parking spot right across from the front door. The message beds are a little hard though. If you Spas with bubbly they'll give you a bath just for asking.

Tina at Bangkok Spa
I was in NOLA a month ago, and went to Bangkok Spa.
Bangkok Spa is on 509 Iberville. I paid $60 for an hour, had a maseuse named Tina. No TS. 5 minutes of the worst back rub I've ever had, it was downright painful. On the flip, she asked what I wanted. I said BJ, she says $100, I offer $60, she says no, I tell her $80 is all I have (the truth as far as cash in pocket). She says for $60 HJ only. I agree. She pushes away all atempts at roaming. A very mechanical HJ, after 5 minutes she begins to look very frustarted. At 10 minutes, she tells me that she's been at it for a long time, and if I didn't complete in 2 minutes then it was over. She Gives it an extra 2 minutes 2 times and then gives up in disgust and says she's done, she won't finish it, and walks out the door. She comes back with towels to wash me off, and asks if something is wrong. I tell her yes, and I want to speak to the mamasan. She says the mamsan is not there. I tell her I know the mamasan is there and I want to speak to her. She continues to lie about her not being there. I stroll NOLA looking for payphones to call the mamasan. When I call the number is busy or it rings forever. The next day right before I'm leaving town I stroll back to the spa, to talk to the mamasan, and LE are outside of the spa moving traffic along and talking to some asian woman. I stroll past and go back to the no-tell. At the airport, I call and get a hold of the mamasan. I explain to her that I was not happy with the treatment I had recieved, and Tina's attitude. She asks where I am, and I let her know I'm heading out of town. She asks to which town, and I say DC. She says "ok, have a happy new year." I have the feeling that if I was staying longer the mamasan might have done something to make it up to me but I'll never know. My back is still in pain 2 days later from the massage. Bangkok Spa is listed in the phone directory as "Sun Spa". The information is:

As always YMMV, but Tina was the absolute worst provider I have ever had. I advise anyone willing to take a chance on Bangkok to refuse service from Tina and leave if they won't find you someone else. I would've advised to avoid Bangkok altogether if not for the mamasan's question about where I was at that particular time, which gave me the impression that she may have been willing to make me an offer to ensure my happiness in some way.
Sorry to hear about your luck, wayward one. I've had one or two like those myself. I'ts best to get the massage and leave if you can spot one before hand. Bad Massage Means.......You guessed it.
wayward one is right. I'm afraid It comes down to luck of the draw with these spa visits. All spas without exception have same the rule of thumb, You can get service that ranks from a 1 to a 7.
8 is hard to come by, and a 9 to a 10 is rare or never.
If you want 9 or 10 rating from a visit, it means $$$ to a gal you find a the eroticreview.
Normally within the first five minutes, you can spot a provider that's "got the attitude". Even if you went full service with her (which is what they all want) you'll still be dissattisfied, if the particular lady simply sucks.
You will find on some occasions, very good providers who's personality and attitude are very pleasing.
Wayward One, I was also sorry to hear of your experience. I agree with Nudieblues. My experience with spas is much the same as his. If the massage is terrible, the entire experience is terrible. I usually stick strictly with the massage under the circumstance, but it's of course disappointing (hey, spade a spade, you go hoping for more & get less). Good luck and I'll make sure to avoid Tina on future visits.
I've heard stories about the Empress Hotel on Ursulines in the Quarter -- cheap rooms and they'll negotiate entertainment. Is this still the case?
