Man, you are a senior member, there are many posts in this forum discussing these issues.
In general, I haven't found one single"girl-unfriendly" hotel in Jakarta. Most hotels will let you walk in with a girl without a second look. Some upscale hotels may require the girl to register, but that is for your own safety.
Jakarta is full of hotels and typically and every hotel is real good for the money you pay. Just visit asiarooms and select one within your budget. Most mongering heavens described in this thread like Travel Hotel, Stadium etc. are close to South Jakarta, so you may want to get into a hotel in that region. However, if you are on business, staying in South Jakarta will not make you look good.
I shall never stop getting wiser, senior member or not. And I shall not stop communicating what I find out, even though I know less than those who know the most. I tried looking up Travel Hotel Jakarta, Mangga Besar 8 Street 21, Taman Sari Village, Taman Sari District, West Jakarta City 11150 on the internet but could find any price per night on it. There were some reviews but not any costs. Tried Asiarooms.com too but not there. Could someone please assist me on this. thx.
