    Thailand Hotels

I will be going to Thailand (Bangkok) in October. I would like to know which hotels would allow guests back to the hotel. I heard many stories but nobody can answer my question on which hotels allow guests

nana hotel is good...most of your midscale places around the sukomvit(sp) area will...just ask about the policy before you book. Also the grande inn is very guest friendly right down the street from nep

sukumvit is the main street(soi) in the fun(sanuk) part of Bangkok. Most hotels near the sex areas--Nana, Soi Cowboy, Patpong and even Soi 33- allow guests. Many bars even have short time rooms(3 hour). The very best hotel in the Nana area is the JWMarriott and I mean best. Price around 100$US per night but a truly wondereful hotel with spa, pool the BEST restaurants etc.
They have never objected to any guests and I have brought in quite a few. There actually are three front doors, only one that passes the front desk so there is never a reason to use that door. Either of the left side doors go directly to elevators.
    Other hotels:
Nana is right there too although very run down and noisy, cost around 30$.
Dynasty is okay and Majestic suites on corner is good and clean and only @0$US but very small rooms and right on Sukhumvit and has Nana Plaza right behind it.
I suggest going to Delphi.com and patpong.com for a wealth of accurate, comprehensive information on every imaginable question that you have about Thailand. Also One night in bangkok and stickmans guide to bangkok are very good. nanaplaza.com is also open again.
PS if you tire of the noisy, sloppy bars of Nana, Patpong and Soi Cowboy the painter bars at Soi33 are a refreshing departure although more expensive the atmosphere is quieter and more classy as are the girls and there are plenty of the and they are beautiful. BTW they are called painter bars because they are named after artists, i.e. Renoir, Monet, VanGogh etc.
If you log onto patpong, com locate the maps. They show you the streets, the the bars, massage parlors, bj bars hotels(designated as either guest friendly or not and much more.
Need more info, let me know

I recommend to majestic Suites hotel, just around the corner from Nana Plaza. It's new and clean, best location you can get. About US $40. www.majesticsuites.com

I stayed at the Royal Asia Lodge near Nana plaza. It was a medicore place but very girl friendly. If you are budget minded it is about 800 Baht a night. One drawback is that it is down an alley. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk up to the main road or you can use the free Tuk Tuk service they provide.

As for guests they require a copy of all girls ID's but do not charge exta. I never had any problems and brought several girls back at various times.

    Thumbs up

Gotta agree with Slickjim. The Majestic Suites is about the best place to stay in the Sukhumvit Area. Location, price, amenities and service that can't be matched. Each room has a digital safe in the closet and they are extremey guest friendly. I'll be staying there again in September.

    Thumbs up Hotel

A great hotel at a really good rate is the Majestic Hotel on Sukhumvit a few doors down from Soi 4. They don't charge to bring guest in. The place is very very clean, new, and has a great staff. The location is good, next to Soi 4 (Home of Nana Plaza), The sky train is right there and many places to eat. Also, the rooms are very quiet. You can check there site out at www.majesticsuites.com The only thing I can say you may not like is the rooms aren't large. But how much time will you spend there anyway. And when you do it will be in the rack! Have fun in Thailand.

    Cheers, RK
