How is the diving in Cebu?

I like what I've read about Cebu's nightlife. Haven't found much about the diving there?

Any divers with info here?

Best diving on Mactan island - not too far from Cebu City (i.e. 40 minutes or so).

On Cebu island go down to Moalboal for best diving experience.

go to malapascua, island at the north of Cebu, top diving. Thresher sharks, sometimes hammerheads etc etc

The diving is great if you get away from the city. Most of the cities dump raw sewage into the ocean, so near land, --> bad diving. If you can get to an island that is near then better. I was in the north of Cebu last year and saw a whale shark up close - 100' Really impressive. Most of the time you need to bring your own girl as the locals might not be to approachable because most live close by. Make friends with girls on FilipinaHeart, then check them out when you get their and invite them for a vacation. Most will accept if you give them a few days to arrange it. Swap out dive sites and girls as often as you like. I really like diving in Moalboal, but bring your own girl.

So like i can dive during the day and then alittle muff diving at night with my rent-a-gf!! Sounds go to me

Cebu diving..
Nalusuan is just amazing, but I am not sure about where to rent propper pro diving gear. Me and a friend dived there some years ago but the equipment was really so so...
Real pro diving sites you can find in Panglao at Alona beach(Bohol) and also Moalboal and Malapascua wich is just a great diving place.... mongoring, well Tagbilaran have that, just ask a taxi driver for it...
