I just don't understand friends ki these LE people have no other work at all or what? Let people do what they want to do as long as they dont force or interfere in the freedom of choice of others. I can understand that women are exploited for flesh trade and am against any kind of exploitation. But what about people who willingly get into it? Prostitution is as old as humanity and we have weird laws to stop it. I would say that it should be made legal with proper medical counseling etc. Now that the LE have (as mentioned in the report)"rescued" these girls, what will they do for the future of these girls. Will they get them some employment? God knows how many of these would have already been abused by the LE themselves in the lockup. All these rules serve no purpose other than fattening the purses of people who are in the authority.

Reports say that maharashtra already has a poor Poli** to Public ratio. And out of that many go as VIP security. Gaand ke neeche phataka rakhke jaate hai aur inko gaand phatne tak pata nahi chalta...chale hai sab ladkiyon ko pakadne...

These LE bastards have no job but to catch hold of whores. No wonder this city is rocked by blasts every year. If they put even half the effort digging out terror, this place would be twice as safe.

No pay hike for Mumbai cops if dance bars operate in their areas

MUMBAI: Functioning of dance bars will prove to be a costly affair for the zonal deputy commissioner of police (DCP) and senior police inspectors. The Mumbai police on Monday decided to stop increments of erring officials from areas where dance bars continue to function despite a ban on them in 2005.

The police swung into action following a TOI report on Monday that home minister R R Patil's warning to policemen of action against them if dance bars are found operational has fallen flat and the threat was 'merely a lip service'.

Ramrao Pawar, additional commissioner of police (north region) called a meeting on Monday of DCPs, ACPs and senior police inspectors under his jurisdiction. Pawar's region is from Jogeshwari to Dahisar, where the social service branch has in the past few months raided several illegal dance bars...
