How is India compared to Thailand?

I am currently in Thailand, I ve been here for 4 weeks, I like it but its getting boring,

I am thinking to come to India, expensive visa but I guess I I will have ore fun there,

Can you take a lady in your room like here in Thailand or you only have brothel options?

Are ladies friendly and smiling to foreigner, ( I am a blue eyed Italian)

Is it safe for someone to tavel alone?

Wecome to India however

1) It is generaly safe to travel only general precaustions as you take while you travel
2) It is not that easy and you can not take ladies to your hotel sepecially if staying in smaller hotels.
3)Prostitution in hotels is not acceptable however in 5 star hotels no body notice if lady is good mannered. good looking and presentatble.
4) It shall be costly in India atleat 3 to 4 times the cost of lady in Thialand
5) Thers are escort agencies advertize on internet, new papers as massage service.

If you are plannig to visit India to indulge in prostitution please don't come here. India has a lot of thing of interest to tourists here but coming solely for prostitution is certainly not welcome. Please don't visit India for this.

India is safe, just ignore the touts and mind for pickpockets,
Girls same price as Thailand (dependant on area) but the quality is very iffy
If your lady looks reasonably well dressed and not like something dragged through a hedge backwards you wont have a problem.

I post my views for my country. You cannot force your views on me. India is certainly not a place for sex tourism like thailand. I don't wish my country even ever gets this reputation for foriegn tourists. We don't want sex starved tourists here. I think all Indians here will second me on this.

I am not to offend anybody here. But it is truth that neither people or government is friendly to foriegner when it comes to prostitution. It is certainly not a destination for sex tourism. There is a good amuont of prostitution in India but nothing in comaparison to Pattaya / Singapore where price cheap, quality good , ease of getting very good, good safety from thugs, police interference is less. Prostitution in India is mainly catering to Indian public with high class girls being imported from Russia and other CIS countries. Many Indians themselves go to Thailand for sex tourism.

So I clearly told the person in harsh word that no one in India will welcome a thought of India becoming like Thailand. It is not like thailand and calling me by names like meatball and other things will not change it to thailand. I show real picture to him and he wants me to tell want he wants to assume that India is as good as bangkok/patayya for mongering. It is not. I still advise him not to come here, since he will be most disappointed and then start to curse other members for wasting his money in coming to India. Please don't Come to India for Prostitution, I still maintain the same statement. If you want to come to India come for other reasons. There is little in prostitution industry of your interest here.

I was in India during the late 70s till mid 80s.

mongering was fun then with bordellos offering anything from Rs 30 -200 per pop then.

working girls were of reasonably okay quality especially the ones from Kerala state ,who were of a pleasant disposition.

the higher end ones used to cost from Rs500 onwards per pop. however, you weren't assured of a good service ala value for the buck!

overnighters used to cost me anything from Rs 100-350 then.(ratings between 4-6).

I had written some encounters on the bangalore, mangalore and goan threads.
3-4 yrs ago, the cheapest working gal between 4-5 demanded Rs 3000 onwards for ST/LT and some I would say, are of 'starfish' quality!

Thailand is a open market. Its so easy like a click of a mouse......

But India is not like that, it is very tough to get a good one......we cant even think about the ones available in open market......so better don't come to India if your objective is "only" sex...instead you can visit Singapore and have more fun from different country girls...

well, if you have UNLIMITED amount of money for mongering, I'm SURE you will score with girls/ladies BUT I can't promise you of the quality of service!

well,you can't put off anyone from travelling to India,to seek sex with the locals.
