Well, against all advice and my better judgement, i decided to take point on this one.

Picked Pamela after much internal deliberation.

armed with the experience and knowledge that I have gained from this forum and my own ventures over the past few years, I would tend to agree with you, that the agency-prices are way too high.

But imagine the following situation, as was my first in Manila many years ago:

I hadn´t heard of WSG yet, and I had NO experience whatsoever in the Philippines.
Instead I had been warned (wrongly, as I know now), that Manila is a danger-zone.
I arrived late at the hotel and I was not very much motivated to try strange waters.
A Yellow-Pages directory in one of the hotel rooms drawers directed my to agencies.

So I phoned one and got me a girl. The agency complied 100 percent with my wishes and I did have a good 3 hours in my room, although for tons of money, I admit. Price quoted then (2000/2001) was 150 US$ plus taxi.

The price for Nica on the website is normally 4000 for 2 hours and he volunteered to let me have her for 3 hours at the same price as a special. The Starbucks I went to was barely 40 metres from the front entrance of the Makati Shangrila. Havanas was still about a 10 minute walk. It was fairly late and I was pretty tired and yes I was too lazy to walk to Havanas. The price paid for laziness was to pay more for a girl but I got lucky on this occasion. I was just reporting back with using an agency being a potential option that can sometime work as it did for me. Will certainly make a greater effort to get to Havanas the next time I am there for business.
