    No doubt about that.

But as you say you can do what you like. None of my business.
The way I see it is; I'd like to be treated in a foreign country the same way the US treats foreign visitors while in our country, with equality, fairness, and respect.

And frankly, when that doesn't happen, I'd like to say; take your 3 million people sending money home and propping up the Phil economy on our backs right back where they came from. Overall I love the Phils, but at times that is my frustrated opinion.

Actually you are pretty far off base on this. The whole world LOVES R&B (note not necessarily rap). Asians particularly loves R&B- especially in the Philippines because it is wrapped around romance and love most of the time.

Please tell me percentage wise who are the predominant producers world wide of Rhythm and Blues music?? Black people.

Lastly, you sure shoe horn the world into a tiny box. Go look at bit torrent sights and look at the most downloaded songs. Thought he music world has become genericised- so to speak of late, people are still seeking things.

I personally don't care who produces the R&B and Rap music (more the latter, because it really is not my cup of tea), but to say that it is not anchored first and foremost in the black community is completely erroneous. That is not a racist comment- just a complete statistical truth.

The nice ones will always say: Whatever you want to give me, so do not be stingy and give them 1500 to 3000, depending on how you liked it. Anyway, just be aware, just sometimes these girls might see more in you than just a short time guest, hard to get rid of them, since they are so cute, lovely and taking care of you (too much here and there).
You just do not understand anything about the pricing structure and life in the Philippines.

A decent house keeping job where a girl works from sun up to sun down but gets fed and roof pays TOPS 5000K a months and usually half of that.

Your proposal to pay a non-bar girl up on the 3000 k side is absurd. 1500 I can deal with (as you would pay that in a bf anyway). Many of these girls are fucking two guys a day. I buy them dinner (filipino style because anything outside of that is wasted on them) and pay 1000 and 500 tip if exceptional + taxi.

Truthfully, I have started to learn that short time is the way to go. Have a run in the sack and a couple of pops and chase her out for 1/2 the money. She goes finds another and you go find another, spin again.

A domestic servant working for a Philippino family gets around 2000 pesos per month for working sun up to sun down. This includes room and board. If working for a foreign boss gets around 5000 pesos. This will include room but no board because food cooked for foreigner may not go well with the maid. So she cooks her food separate.
Girls who are P4P earn this 5000 pesos in maybe one day. A good looking girl unless she wastes money on drugs, boyfriends etc can save pretty good chunk to buy her a house in the provinces and can live well. But the problem in PHI is that any girl who has money is forced to share her wealth with her family and sometimes friends. By the time she is done with that she is beyond her marketable age and looks and back to poverty. So she settles down with a PHI guy making babies and living hand to mouth. If only the girls are taught little bit about economics they would be far better off. I know a good looking AC girl who made real good money. Her story goes the same and now she is living with a Phi day laborer and scraping through life. Yes, she did ask me for money when I called her last time but I gave her few excuses.

I think you missed the point here. Granted I should have said R&B with RAP mixed in (these days they are nearly seamless). Yes, I know the technical difference. But, in the clubs both are played . I made no mention of who produces RAP. Yes I am aware who was responsible for RAP's emergence. But if you really research, today you will actually see that worldwide, Rap is produced locally in whatever country the music is created. I think you would be hard pressed to find a Black producer in Korea, but the music of choice in Korea clubs, is RAP/R&B from local musicians and of course those from America made famous from worldwide marketing. Same holds true in most Asian countries. Yes, in America and regarding worldwide sales, Blacks are the biggest producers. This is the case because there is only a very small market for foreign rap artists and quite frankly, foreign producers are not marketing to the world - only within their own countries. So when you say RAP is anchored in the Black world, by today's numbers worldwide, this is just not the case.

I'm happy to see this thread get back to pussy. phillike is right on target. Westerner's cultural norms are as foreign to filipinas as theirs are to us. Time after time I've known girls who have picked up 1500p to 3000p [not from me] in one night and the next day they're broke. I used to bone this one gal in Manila. She had worked in Malaysia for 3 years and made good money. Then she decided to not return and just got a job in Manila [family was in the province]. She came back with almost no savings; the family just kept bleeding her. Working in Manila got her off the hook coz she could tell them she made just enough to support herself. I asked why she didn't just tell them no. She gave me a funny look and said it's not allowed.

I guess it depends on where you are. My experience here in the Phils has been predominantly black rap / R&B (though not exclusive). Having traveled extensively around Europe, it is VERY different there (allot more techno stuff going on). In South America, once again, VERY different there as much more latin driven music.

Family ALWAYS comes first here in Phils- especially with the girls. They are somehow brainwashed that it is THEIR responsibility to take care of the family. I was seeing this 18 y/o who had a 40 y/o able bodied father, two older brothers and she had a son already. She sent 90% of her money home to her family. Whenever I asked her about it, she said it is her responsibility. Meanwhile I would see the brothers and father out all the time tagay getting drunk.

That's how it is. Probably none of them worked, so they were getting drunk/chasing skirts on her earnings. More times than you would want to know about, when she goes home for a vacation, she'll have to give up more than just her cash. I have absolutely no use for male flips.

Think about what it means to go to your friend's house as a guest and to be treated accordingly. I am not treated that way in the PI. If I am a guest, then why must I be careful about scammers and scalpers. I am not a guest but rather my relationship is financial. I go with money to make purchases of goods and services. Unfortunately a few Filipinos treat me like I should quickly unload my money, go home, and shouldn't come back until I have some more.

That´s not only for the Philippines!!!

    Titfortat,

don´t focus this statement on the Philippines only.

I would say, this is the truth for most countries in the world.

The scammers are all over the world and that has nothing to do with the hospitality of a country or a person.

Agree: scammers all over the world

Disagree: Comparing the Phils volume/percentage of scammers equally to developed countries.

I would say 80% of phils would skin you for $$ if they had the chance, I'd say that percentage in the developed world is less than 10%. But at least most phils most will skin you with a smile on there face.

    more obvious?

    Bluebalz,

maybe the Philippinos are more obvious in doing it and also the pressure is much stronger.

For a German it is usually easier to stay at home, watch TV, hold open his hand to the government welfare and that is it.
If we hadn´t had that, maybe the Germans would also be "masters of scam".

    Geetings,
