My Philippines Post Divorce Adventure

The next stop on my post divorce adventure is the Philippines. I have written other reviews about places I've gone such as Russia, Thailand, Colombia, etc. I raved about a few of those. I cannot say the Philippines is fantastic but it does have its charms.

First of all, fly here on Philippine Airlines http://www.philippineairlines.com. They have a direct flight from Los Angeles LAX airport. You get on the plane, go to sleep and wake up in Manila. I cannot recommend Manila. It is recognized as a filthy and dangerous city. I landed there from the USA and then went to the southern Philippines city of Davao. Much more tourist friendly.

Gotta get yourself an unlocked cellular phone. They are on sale at eBay www.ebay.com pretty cheaply, like $50 each. I like the Motorola V190 GSM Quad Band Cell phone especially. Worked for me PERFECTLY in Davao.

I recommend staying in a nice hotel. You are very much judged by your hotel choice. I stayed in the Marco Polo which is the major deluxe hotel here. Wasn't bad, like $120 a night. http://davao.marcopolohotels.com/

Things are pretty cheap otherwise here in Davao. The currency is pesos. Basic note is 500 pesos which is about US$10.

There is a very big shopping mall called Gaisano, you go there and they have "everything" from KFC chicken to Pizza Hut. Also a supermarket, home hardware store, etc. Lots of cell phone stores. The big companies are SMART, GLOBE and SUN. http://www.adamlawyer.com/adam/philcell.jpg

At night near the Davao Central Bank the girls gather. There is a "hot club" called the VENUE on one side and on the other side of the bank street whores who will do anything for 500 pesos, about $10. Pretty serious good deal I would say.

There are lots of massage places which offer very high quality massages for about 200 pesos an hour. That's $4 an hour. The messages are good quality but non sexual so if that's your thing you are apt to be disappointed.

It's said that Philippine women make the best wives and I think that could be true. There were two kinds of ladies here. There are many, many women you can meet virtually anywhere. I met girls at the post office, certainly at the mall, on the street, at the bank, etc. Here nearly every woman speaks English in addition to local languages. It's remarkable, a testament to the US involvement here for so long. They are also not buddists but mostly Roman Catholics due to Spain's big influence here and colonization. So you get the Madonna / Whore complex. Some girls you take out and they are ready to rock and roll, we are talking non professional girls ready to fuck after buying them a drink. Then you have religious virgin girls talking about saving themselves until marriage. I would avoid those.

Through this agency I was introduced to a large number of girls and I can say about half were ugly and unacceptable with stupid flaws like terrible skin, fat, bad teeth, etc., but there were likewise lots and lots of very hot ones too. I think that for honestly, loyalty, etc., you cannot beat one of these Philippino ladies. They are not scandalous like Thai and Colombian women. They really want to marry, have a family, do right by their husbands, etc. Gotta love it.

I tried a lot of crappy massages. On a street off Rizal (same one as Hotlegs 3) there is a massage place staffed 24 hours a day by blind people. That is cheap and good. The best place I found was in a hotel next to Bar 183 on Rizal (forget the name) but the massage place is on the mezanine level.

I wouldn't bother with an agency in the Philippines. Girls are issued at the airport.

Be careful! There are a lot of scams. A surprising number of guys get scammed through agencies when they meet "girls" who turn out to be gay men using models photos.

You will have a much larger selection of prettier women available for fun in Manila's Ermita section. Noticed that your "well spanked" friend's thighs are so fat they touch in photo, so they will rub together when she walks.

Prices at Ermita hot spots are going down as the worldwide economic depression takes hold. Those places are:
LA Cafe (biggest and most popular)
Amazonia Bar
G Point Bar
Jap Lac Lounge (which is bar fine, negotiate it down)
various Karoake bars such as on Mabini & Adriatico Aves.

.....and slightly outside the Ermita area (still inside Manila) like:

EDSA complex (Firehouse Bar, etc.). across from Heritage Hotel
many, many karoake bars and regular bars

taxi drivers can almost always be a source of info

more expensive options, sometimes with the prettiest of women, are the bars on Burgos Street in the most upscale section of Manila, Makati. Near the airport is Air Force One, a massage/hot tub place.

If you stay at a larger hotel, smile and tip at the hotel cafe and you may very well find your waitress flirting with you. That has happened all four times I have stay at the Pearl Manila Hotel on General Luna Ave in Ermita.
