Dumaguete is a non event

This is not a place for mongering. I don't even think it should be on this board. You can certainly get laid here, but you can do that anywhere in the Phils. By the time you fly here and figure out the landscape you have wasted a lot of time. Better to go to Manila, AC, Cebu and other spots. This place isn't bad as a tourist destination though.

Finding P4P here can take a bit of work and I hate work. There aren't alot of LON's in this town and after a few days I have seen zero obvious targets. I haven't done a lot of exploring though and I'm not here on vacation. I'm sure if I were to spend more time looking then I would find some P4P but as I said, I hate having to work for it.

All the places mentioned in the previous threads are fine places to start looking. Whynot disco, the boulevard and the pier are probably the best places. I get the feeling that Whynot is basically a place for the girls to find foreigners but because it's one of very few clubs in this city, that's probably not true of all the girls.

Final verdict: Great for a tourist destination. The city itself is probably nothing special but there are lots of great surrounding areas. If you are looking strictly for mongering then you might as well pass this place up.

I believe the attraction there is university girls for free - not clubs where you pay. I've passed through a couple of times but not stopped - this is what I've heard from people on the island.
