The Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office tells us, a Spartanburg school district assistant superintendent has been busted on prostitution charges.
District Two assistant superintendent of finance and operations Wayne xxx, was arrested by county sheriffs deputies Thursday afternoon during a day long sting which nabbed five customers and three employees at a handful of massage parlors in the county.
Deputies tell us xxx has been charged with soliciting prostitution in the first offense and was released from jail on $1,000 bond.
In addition xx, xxx, and xxx were arrested at Therapy Plus Spa at 306 East Blackstock Road, Spartanburg. xxx, was arrested at the Q-Spa at 330 East Blackstock Road.
Investigators first arrested three women operating the businesses, and then women posing as massage parlor employees welcomed potential customers as they entered the business. Hidden cameras were among the props used to record the activity when customers were arrested on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute.
The reverse sting resulted in the arrest of 5 men charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous complaints about prostitution activities occurring at the two spas.
