Sleeping pills/aids that work? Online pharmacies?

It seems I can't sleep good unless I'm stinking drunk, but then there's the hangover, or Xanax or Valium...but totally addictive. I live in the US so I'm hoping someone can recommend a good sleeping aid besides melatonin (erratic crazy dream sleep) or the basic Unisom.I've heard of this "Herbal Xanax" but haven't tried it. I'm hoping you all can recommend something that might help. I know in Europe there are different drugs available than here.
I tried Lunesta/Imovane (same drug, different name, depending on where) and it worked well and is less addictive. One side effect I remember was a strange slightly unpleasant taste in mouth that lingers-weird. Anyways, looked for it in Tijuana, Bangkok, and Pattaya and no one had it. Asked Doctors at clinics as well as pharmacies. Am now going the online route...has anyone ordered drugs from India Meds? I ordered from them 2 months ago-keep telling me shipment got lost and they'll resend. I think I got scammed. ANy help appreciated. Thanks.

    Try Sonata

Sonata is a mild sleeping aide that only remains in the body for about four hours. My doctor said that was the best way to handle a long flight (I used to take the 17 1/2 nonstop between JFK and BKK. I took two Sonata, slept four hours, woke up, walked around the cabin, rehydrated myself, maybe watched the entertainment system or read for an hour or two, then popped two more Sonata. Woke up again after four more hours, ate the second inflight meaL, etc. If I still felt tired or was bored, I'd take another round of Sonata and sleep until it was time for the pre-landing breakfast.

Because it leaves the body so quickly, you don't feel groggy on arrival. Sonata is a prescription drug - you need to talk to your doctor about it.

Try advil pm. Works for me. I took it just as they serve the first meal after take off from LAX. As soon as I was done with the meal, started to watch a movie.... next thing I know we were landing in Hong Kong...... felt refreshed and its over the counter meds, so even better......
