Places to go in Koh Samui...

Can anyone tell me where the happening places are in Koh Samui? Places to pick up escorts?

There are a number of places to go. Soi Green Mango at night has GoGo Bars, Beer Bar type places, and a couple of discos. I've met and taken girls in all these places in Green Mango. It is a small area so if you are going to butterfly and want to avoid running in to any other girls you have been with, this may not be the place to go.

There is also a whole lot of bars near the Reggae Pub, and I have seen quite a few honey's here, but never taken one from here. There are also a whole lot of freelance girls who go to the Reggae Pub. Personally I like the Reggae Pub the most.

If it is after 2am, Solo Bar or Sound Bar is where everyone heads to, so you should be able to find someone there. Also after 2am the Jimi Hendrix bar is open, and is more relaxed than Solo Bar.

I've already had 2 trips to Samui this year, and was thinking of one more. But it looks like Phuket may win out.

Depends on your personality. Whenever in places like Lamai, I never head out to the big night clubs as such. Personally I prefer to hang out in the small bars with a few girls and be able to enjoy things that way. Others prefer the main happening places, which you'll also finds lot of in places like Chaweng and Lamai.
