going away for a weekend to Paris and looking for some action, but not sure how to pay. If I pay for lap dancers etc will it show on my credit card bill?

Pay cash to avoid leaving any traces of your mongering.

hey i am from europe
as you know we are more open to prostitution and entertainment industry. any joint you will pay with credit card will have an explicit statement on the credit card statement.
the bar or even brothel you paid will appear in total on the credit statement. at least the company name will leave no doubt about what industry it was.
better use cash.
and don t change money into euros over here. and don t use your credit card on atm's in europe.
simply use your checking card from your bank.
like this you will pay the smallest charges.

The more professional places will let you know exactly how this will appear on your credit card account...eg, some 'emporiums' put credit card business through as 'restaurant' for the sake of discretion so don't be afraid to ask.
"and don t use your credit card on atm's in europe."...good advice but you can alternatively put your credit card in credit before you go and then the costs are similar to 'checking cards'.
i am probaly going a bit off topic, but i am being offer an American Express Platinum card. has anybody have any experiance with this card and would to share there experiance thanks.

I have an AMEX business gold and it's almost worthless in developing countries. Don't know about Europe, but in southeast Asia and south America it's all about Maestro Card and Visa. I've never seen an AMEX logo anywhere but the nicest of hotels.
Europe may be a different story.
yeah, when i was in russia, i rarely saw any places that take American Express, but i do admit that it worth having. i got the gold card and those AMEX people take care of you from my experiance
