Poker player needs guide on first trip

Hello mates,

I recently got interested in traveling to thailand from everything i have been hearing about it. I am planning to go in late August from 19th to Sept 2nd.
As a newbie joining this exciting club, i had a few questions.

1) I want to go when there arent too many tourists (but more girls available), so do you think it would be a good time to go in August?

2) should i go for one week or two?

Thanks to anyone that replies and I am hoping to find a Canuck friend to go with so if anyone is interested, give me a shout on this forum or pm me.

1) August is a great time to go. (plenty of women, don't worry about that)

2) Make it two weeks for sure. Think about your plane ticket. More vacation for what you paid for it (i.e., half as much per day paid on the plane ticket) Trust me, you won't regret staying for two weeks if nothing is stopping you from doing so.

There are always plenty of girls on offer, just don't expect beauty queens.

Three weeks is even better if you can swing it. I usually fly out of the US on a Saturday, the flight crosses the international dateline and I arrive either late Sunday or Earl Monday morning depending on the airline. I am so wiped out from lack of sleep and being cramed on a plane for 20 hours pressurized only to levels found in the high passes of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, (you get mild altitude sickness from long flights.) My body doesn't produce normal testosterone levels from the jet lag and I don't usually feel horney and enjoy the sex until Thursday night. If you're on a one week trip your trip is practically over by then and all you've done is sat around is a jet lag induced haze and hardly had much of a sex drive the whole trip. In the US I basically sleep all day and stay up all night, when I fly to the other side of the world to party unfortunately my anti-square cycadian rythym turns opposite and I crash like a rock at 7pm in Thailand and am wide awake at sunrise. Takes practically a week before I can stay up late and enjoy the nightlife.
