The trip that almost didnt happen !

Ok guys, so I returned from LOS a couple of days ago and I feel I already need another vacation to get over the exhaustion from this one.

This trip almost got cancelled since I was hospitalised for 4 days with an acute throat infection and after 16 drips of glucose and 52 shots of antiobiotics I just about made the flight. I had though had to carry oral doses of antiobiotics as I was still feeling a bit under the weather but did not want to miss the long due trip.

I will be posting this trip report in 2 parts in the pattaya and the bangkok threads for the days spent in the respective cities

Enough of the prologue here is the report

Day 1

After a delay of an hour in taking off at the delhi airport, the trip was finally underway and I realised I had'nt been so excited for sometime now. Arrived at the Suvarmabhumi airport early morning and after going through the immigrations (which was uneventful and pretty quick) and collecting the baggage went down after the exit to find the ticketing counter for the infamous Bus no. 389 (117 baht one way ticket), it is fairly easy to spot and is next to a car rental desk after you have walked down the ramp (ramp is on the left as you come out of the visitors area). We had an hour to while away before the bus departed so we went to the mart outside the building to grab something to munch and drink.

The bus journery was uneventful and we reached the outskirts of south pattaya within 2 hours, took a baht bus from there to soi bukhao where we checked in to the Siam Sawasdee. The rooms were fine but not the best service that I have received in LOS and plus the rooms did not have a safe deposit box (there was one at the reception which I used and was more or less satisfied). The tariff was 990baht/day, booked superior rooms.

Decided to catch up on some sleep before we headed out to our first evening in paradise. Having slept for a good 5 hours, showered and all ready to rock we left the hotel around 7pm, walked down to the beach road, grabbed some food at the royal garden plaza, paid the the internet cafe on the 3rd floor a visit to catch up on some of the stuff back home and finally started our walk towards WS.

Noticed that the quality of FL's at the beach road has gone down the floor and so have the numbers. The last time I was in Pattaya on a full fledged trip was in Dec'05-Jan'06 and the beach road used to be flooded with FL's and saw a few decent looking ones.

Anyways we reached WS and as always it was buzzing with people, decided to check out a few gogo's and went into the Nui's 2 A Go Go, small place with only about 6-8 girls in there. The girls completely lacked energy, did'nt see anything worth so left after a drink.

Went into heaven's above, had about 15 girls, most of them had fit bodies and quite a few were good looking, saw a couple of girls who were BF material but did'nt bite. Stayed there for an hour or so just to enjoy looking at the girls.

To be honest Go Go's has never really been my thing I usually do this round once on my trip to stay updated.

Around midnight decided to hit lucifer disko tk (thats what the sign says). Damn the place was busy as ever and to be honest the quality of the girls had gone up a few notches since my last visit when it was bursting at the seams but couldnt find a decent looking lass even after spending a lot of time.

Had a few drinks and after 2 rounds of the entire place 2 girls standing near the stage where the band were performing caught our attention. Went up and chatted to them, all set and we were off to Tony's for a few more drinks and had a quick bite to eat before going to the hotel.

We reached hotel, the recpetionions collected the ID downstairs before we went to the room.Both of us (separately)showered, which is always a must for me.

The girl I picked wasnt a stunner (I guess the beer googles are to blame) but she more than made up for it in the sack. Lot of french kissing and happily changed positions, no fuss whatsoever, a great service. Also had a morning session which always gets my chin up for the day.

I would rate session as below:-

Face: 7
Body: 8
Skills: 9
Overall: 8.5

The Lucifer girl you gave her 1000B + 500, was the 500 a tip or taxi money to Udon?

Yah im confused by the 1000 +500 too.. 1k is the long term rate for most FL of the quality you described. I wouldn't think 12 hrs (most of it sleep) would justify the extra money. Was it for the 2nd pop? Overall including drinks you probably spent closer to 2500 on her. Damn these little issan buggers really know how to suck up the baht.

Anyway it really doesnt' matter if you had fun.. just curious.

Speaking of Heaven above I really like that place. It does have some stunners and it's a nice place to hang out for a bit. Has anyone stayed at the rooms there? I think its called Galaxy or something like that..

Lol...that reminds me when one of my braindead pals told me he had a great non pro girl. All was free for him but he gave her 1000 baht for her taxi home!

I reminded him that she worked in reception at the apartment next door...Didn't think of that he said!

There is a jacuzzi there, but in Pattaya there are at least 4 gogo bars with a jacuzzi (and I've not been there since 7 months so they could be more now).

Woke up with a delhi belly (in pattaya !!!), it had to be that KFC I had the previous evening. Anyway took an antibiotic for the same and unperturbed left the hotel after a shower and went on to the beach road and took a ferry to the (coral) island nearby mainly for a better beach and cleaner seawater. Sure enough wasnt disappointed, the water and the beach is much cleaner compared to south pattaya. That said it is a commercialised spectacle with almost everything costing nearly twice as much compared to south pattaya.

Saw a lot of Russian pyt's but all of them on holiday with their families so no luck there

Went back to the hotel, had a nap, showered dressed and off we went for dinner at an Indian restaurant called Indian by nature, it is on the Thapraya road near jomtien. Very friendly owner and good ambience, also the food was great. Took a baht bus back from there for WS to start our evening.

We decided to walk around a bit before entering WS. Instead of entering WS from the beach road we took a left turn instead and then right at the set of lights, kept going about 5 minutes and saw 3 russian/uzbeki (outside a family mart If I remember correctly) looking women and this motorcycle taxi guy was acting like their pimp it seemed, went on to have a chat with him and demanded 4k LT which none of the girls warranted. I am sure some negotiation could have brought that down but was'nt impressed a lot by the ladies so didnt bite.

Was very keen to try the Galaxy club so we went there and lots of EE women, most of them were not particularly young but had nice and fit bodies. However our experience was ruined by an arab sheikh who was hogging all the attention with his wad of 1000 baht notes and he was literally showering the money on the girls who all seemed very content to stay around him. He even had an EE girl dressed like an Indian bride sitting next to him. That guy was seriously loaded and he must have blown away 20k easily in the time we spent inside. With a serious complex we left the establishment to have a few drinks and take in what we had just seen.

Went to lucifer again had a few drinks and did the mandatory round of the place but partly because I was feeling a bit under the weather and did'nt see anything worth I decided to skip it. Left lucifer at minutes to 3 and grabbed a couple of kebabs to eat on the way to the hotel.


As we are about to get on to abaht bus my mate says he is really feeling frisky and wants to go hunting (This is IMHO the only -ve of traveling together). I have had quite a few drinks but agree to doing a quick round of Soi bukhao but he finds nothing that he fancies, then the baht bus driver says he knows a place where we can find some pussy, and before we know we are outside of south pattaya and after a 15 minute drive we reach a notorious looking neighbourhood which has bars scattered.

It was near to the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital if I remember correctly (I only have faint recollection due to all the alcohol) but luckily for my mate doesent drink as much and is a pretty big guy lest someone tries to pull a fast one (IMO One of many +ve's of traveling together). After 30 minutes of going through bars he finds something of interest but the girl wants 3.5k longtime/2k short time, even after some haggling the price doesent budge and we decide to call it a night.

Not a very successful day by any standards but in LOS there is always tomorrow to look forward to...

Thanks for the advice. Couldnt agree with you more, I felt the price was too driven up also because the baht bus driver was taking his cut (and it looked like a big one).

I think I know exactly where is the place you were driven by that guy. It is on a soi of the Sukumwit road a few hundreds meters past Pattaya Nua (North Pattaya rd).
Is not a place where many tourists know. Most of the costumers are thai or some expatsso girls there barely don't speak a word of english.
A friend of mine (a thai guy living here in Europe) went to ST there a couple of times last month and what he payed was 700 bath...
To be quoted 3'500 LT in such stalls it's simply ridiculous

it did look like north pattaya indeed now that you have mentioned it, and to be honest the place looked a bit dodgy to me. Also I am not sure it may have been the alcohol but a lot of the girls barely looked 18 and I have seen a lot of asian girls and proud myself to be a fairly accurate judge of their ages when it comes to looks.

Look...here's a couple of places that are good.

Get a motorbike taxi or bahtbus in the daytime to Thappraya road that's going up the Hill to Jomtein.
Look for the big German dental sign and ask somebody where the Jade house hotel is.
From 10 am to 6pm they have great short time rooms and good girls. Some are shop girls.

Go to Buddah Hill and ask to be taken to the freeway hotel. In the nightclub bit there's plenty girls who swim NAKED in a huge fish tank. They are all available.

Also try Naklua. Many good bars.

Happy hunting and keep the prices sensible then you can enjoy it for a long time.
