Good Fun in Shenzhen

In the interest of giving back to the community, I want to share a recent experience in Shenzhen.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza a few weeks ago. I went to the VBar at the hotel on Saturday night and had one of the best experiences I can remember in several years.

I met a girl there I will call Gigi. She arrived with a friend of hers about 11pm. I had been at the club about an hour and I was very impressed with the general quality of the crowd. That being said, Gigi really caught my eye.

I pegged here at early 20s but she later told me she was 30. She was about 5'5" (165cm) with a nice curvy figure. Cute face and DD cup boobs with nice long legs. Really tasty. I would rate her the following: face 8; body 8.5; attitude 9.5.

After buying her and her friend a drink, we went outside to the patio area and chatted. When her friend finally went to the bathroom, I told Gigi I wanted to "spend some time alone" with her. She smiled and agreed.

When her friend returned, I gave her rmb200 taxi fare to be nice. I think Gigi really appreciated my not dissing her friend. About 20 minutes later, Gigi and I were in my room. We started making out like high schoolers and then went from there.

Long story short, we made love four times over the next 14 hours or so. It was only going to be three times until we were getting ready to part ways. Sorry to distort the market but I gave her US$300 just to be fair. Even that felt cheap. She was so totally hot and fun I couldn't have possibly given her just $150. I had a really terrific time. I think about what US$300 buys in Las Vegas and it makes me shudder.

Lessons learned (for what is worth):

--I am sure the Crowne Plaza is not the only game in town. I suspect this scenario plays out at all the "western" clubs every night.
--I was nicely dressed for my night out. I am in my 40s but I am in decent shape and do not necessarily look my age. I was polite and gracious to all the girls I met. I think this counts for a lot. Leave the T-shirts and flip-flops in the suitcase. If you want quality tail, dress like you are able to afford it.
--I think girls in China are less aggressive than in many other Asian cities (Bangkok, for example). I was approached 2 or 3 times at VBar by average looking "pros" but generally you have to do your own work. If you say "hello" and start a conversation, the girls are very pleasant and friendly. The better looking "semi-pros", in my opinion, will not approach you on their own.

Anyway, that's my take. Treat them right and you will get it back in spades. I now have a "girlfriend" in Shenzhen and I cannot wait to go back and spend time with her again!

I stayed @ the Crown also back in Dec 2006. Had Christmas in China.
It is a very nice hotel.
I should have went to check out the V-bar.
But, I was busy with my local contact chasing tail in other parts of Shenzhen.
I did bring back a fine 23 year old , a 9 all around to spend the night. It was awesome!

I too broke down and dropped a little extra cash. Well worth it!
When she left the next day. She wanted the bath robe to take home. I said , sure take both. ..haha. Till this day I did not get billed for them.. .haha
Then again I stayed in one of their suites.

P.S. Going back in Oct-Nov again.... But, will be only stopping in Shenzhen for a few days...Then it's off to Hangzhou and Fuzhou. Hope to be able to post some exciting news on these places.

A couple fyi points. $300 is almost just about enough to get you a 20ish model quality girl at most of the top KTV joints in the city. Typical KTV price in SZ is 1500RMB at most of the bigger places, but it's higher at the best places, and as low as 700RMB at the smaller places. One guy paying one freelance girl $300 isn't going to distort the market, but you should be aware of what's out there. If you go to Luohu, you can probably even find girls who can speak some basic English since a lot customers in that area are HKese.

I don't mean to knock the girl you were with in any way, but you should also understand, she's probably not in very high demand. 30 is considered way over the hill in the P4P scene in SZ. Most foreigners have different taste in Chinese women than natives and I would be willing to bet that she wouldn't be considered a "top" girl by the natives here. But you know what? As long as you had a good time, it's all good. Who cares what the natives think.

One last point, OCT is not really considered an area with a lot of available girls. I would go as far as to say that most people consider the VBar a big ripoff joint where girls try to take advantage of naive foreigners who don't know any better. If you can, try to have a local guy take you around and head out east towards futian and Luohu. There are sooooooo many places in Shenzhen to get girls it's almost unbelievable. The only other place I can of with more girls per block would be in Changping in Dongguan.

Great trip report fellow monger but in the end she's only interested in your American dollar and nothing else. I should know because i've been to China many times and it's pussy heaven, it's a plus for me because i speak Mandarin and Cantonese. I'm glad you had a great time but don't kid yourself she's only putting on an act and she did a great job fleecing your $300 which is nothing to you and me but to her it's jackpot.

Xiao Ping - Everything you said is true and pretty accurate. Most foreigners are vary naive and don't know better when it comes to mongering. You sound like an expert in Shenzhen, do you live in Shenzhen? Are you a monger in SZ or tour guide?

I'm not a tour guide, but I'm in SZ about 2-3 months out of the year on work related matters. I've been coming to SZ regularly for over 6 years and I've seen a lot of change here. Because of work, I get entertained a lot so I've pretty much seen everything the city has. Personally, I like SZ a lot. It's an exciting place and I don't say that just because of the girls.

Since you know the arae well. can you tell me how is Shanshui Trend hotel ($38us) in Louwu area. It looks nice and the price is $20 cheaper than Best western ($58) . Shanshui Trend hotel seems like more closer to all the action like Seibu bbs. All I need is good clean hotel and girl firendly in teh same area. Any suggestion? thanks!

As you say, a lot is just personal taste. I would rather spend time with a girl who has been around the block a couple of times if the rest of her is mint condition. This one spoke English very well and had an interesting day job to talk about so spending a bunch of time with her was fun. Since I do not speak any Chinese, the best looking little hottie on earth would be a challenge to hang with for very long if she did not speak English and hadn't really had any life experience.

I am not under any illusions about her motives. On the other hand, she was definitely having a good time. Any chick who can get that wet faking it gets my Oscar nod. ;-)

BTW, what exactly is a KTV? I see this quoted alot but I am afraid I do not know the lingo. Also, I value my privacy and I almost always travel alone. I am wondering if trolling KTVs on my own is a very good idea.

KTV's are clubs with private rooms, set up with sound systems, TV's to sing sounds in .. There are girls available, they usually bring a group in, and you choose one (or more). Depending on the club and the city, sometimes the girl just sits and talks, pours your drinks, sings.. sits close to you. Some clubs, you can get some hand action.. or you can touch her anywhere.. some clubs the girls will take some clothes off... but you never know, unless you get word from someone how it works... You either pay for the room, plus your drinks, then have to tip the girl.. (depends how much, how long you are there), or sometimes there is a room charge and a minimum amount you have to buy in food and drinks. Sometimes the girls start to order fruit and snacks.... drink alot (which you pay for).. and the bill gets quite high for not much action... Not the kind of scene you want to go into by yourself... and normally not unless you are with a Chinese guy that know how things work.

You did not distort the market, and I like to be generous also.. but you gave 2X what you needed to, and the girl would have been happy. 100 would have been generous for the taxi... and $200 for the 14hrs.. would have been quite high. The problem you have is the next time, she will think you are a rich man and expect the same hourly rate... or more...

You could have given her a little more, and then when you come next time, bring her a small gift if you want to build a relationship... You could also give her a little more next time, but now you have set the standard.

Stayed at the Shanshui fashion trends hotel, luowu. East of the luowu station, but they have a free shuttle, which I couldn't find until after i checked in and got told.

KTV and MP next door, and the hotel is girl friendly. (ie. girl I booked followed me in without anyone stopping her - right in front of the bellboys/front desk etc)

Was tired and got the incall option for a BM and FJ from next door. Damage was RMB400 (and yes, it was likely too high - expected $300 max). The girl was in early 30's, face (6), avg body (7), C-cup, good hands for the massage (8), but had FK (the only GFE-part), but didn't really like fingering where she was 'already wet'. BJ slip on the rubber, into mish/doggie/cowgirl etc. standard fare of positions, no CIM. Kicked her out after, as I wasn't going to book her for the next day.

The next evening, took off from the Shangri-La and headed north, bumped into a few mama-sans, and agreed on RMB200 for ST for quality. Went to side building, up the lift, and entered room. The guy was cooking dinner for the girls, and there were 6-8 there... this is after the mama-san told me she had plenty of choice. (obviously my understanding of plenty differed from hers ).

Picked a young looking one, and later was told by the mamasan she was 'below 18' (fark me) . No wonder she had issues with gagging while doing the BJ and had to 'show her some ropes'. Smallish tits, shy demeanour, kinda dead fish during the whole thing and I guessed I was dealing with a girl who was quite new to the whole thing. Mama-san suggested another girl 'with more experience', after the fact.. I said I'd check back another time.

On the way out, got another approach, and had to beg off 'after having eaten already'.

Shenzhen ... the place to go for 'buffet style'... i'm going for 3-some next time and likely to try a KTV place too.

You can bring the girls back to your hotel for 200rmb short time and it costs 150rmb if you do the girl in their room. This price is standard however you can't fault them for trying to get more money.
