Guys...confused......

As regulars here know I post my experiences as I get them, but I am a bit confused about Makati....and as I am going on Sunday for the first time for 4 nights that worries me......some say the bar fine is 2000 to 4000 pesos.......that's a lot, I'd rather pay the girl some money and leave organised crime poor. Others say 1000 pesos....no problem with that...... I have BKK, Jakarta, SIN and Beijing on the trip after Manila so is Manila really worth the cash........I can get my Viet gf to fly in and avoid the barfines completely.......(just have to pay airfare and no clue on visas)

I am really disallusioned, I thought Manila was a world centre for mongering....all I see on here (mainly) is that it is just the Asian rip off centre......how come everyone says Singapore is expensive........S$250 a night for a REALLY nice girl, S$150 for a 7 or 8 seems really good value compared to prices on here. Jakarta US$100 all night in a 5 star anything you want......Beijing 1000 RNB (or way less)....for some kinda kinky stuff if you are lucky.....even in a 5 star if you meet a FL without an attitude.....

Just tell me, is Manila worth the effort.......I can buy a very nice Pino girl in KL for 400-500 Ringitts for the night and before haggling.......why the hell make the mafia in Manila rich??

Sorry for the rant......please post replies.....otherwise I'll get the gf to fly in (visa permitting).

if you go to EDSA the barfines there are 1000 pesos, on Burgos they can range up to 3000-3500 pesos, in LA Cafe if you don't deal with the fn mamasans then there really is no barfine there. then you just have to negotiate the ST/LT amount with the girls themselves. depends on how much the like you or not it can range from a 1000 pesos on up. good luck and dont forget to post your experience here to keep us updated on whats going on there in the PI.

Its not that I don't like spending money, I just object to gining the bar more than the girl!
