I will be in a hotel on this road in a few days.
Can anyone give me some quick pointers for action, since I'll probably get off the place, take a shower, and be ready to go.

If I end up taking to dig things up, I probably will just fall asleep that first night.


Also, any suggestions for outcall services (besides getting the newspaper?)

Well, I went to the Shanghai Hotel suana and was pretty impressed.
Granted, this is my first trip out here, but why can't this type of service be found in all countries.

Anyways, still hoping someone can give me a lead to outcall services, since I cannot speak Chinese.

I prefer some proven agencies rather than throwing darts at the ads in the newspapers.

Well since you're a cracker that don't speak Mandarin and people in China will see you as a target for street, coffee shop scams, overcharging you because you're guilty of being white and they see you as a walking ATM machine...sorry about the negatives stuff just want you to be safe and stay out of trouble. Read the threads on Shanghai scam...it could save you a lot of money and headache. As for a place to get laid, i highly recommend massage parlors and forget about the newspaper call girl service...the moment the papasan or mamasan hears you're American voice over the phone it's pretty much a scam down the road.

You should of brought along a freind that speaks Mandarin or at least basic knowledge of the language. Most people in China don't speak basic English and you're going to have a very tough time getting laid.......be on the safe side take some tours

there are many bars with freelancers... best one I think is the Manhattan... You negotiate with the girl, and take her back to the room

Haha... first time I was called a cracker.
My biggest problem is being raised in the US, I didn't learn any Chinese.

I do have friends who speak Mandarin, problem is, they aren't the mongering type and I prefer discretion among the work-place.

I have tried the parlours, and it was great, but I read some posts here about being able to get a freelancer for LT sessions at slightly better or similar rates.

Now deciding if I stay in Shanghai or visit some other Chinese city.

I will be extending my trip (gotta take advantage of the company flight), but may not be in town next weekend, depending on where I decide to go.
HK or Thailand or more of China.
So much fun to look forward to.
