Hello WSG members. Devilok here. Have not visited for a few months, and I would like to share a few experiences from my most recent Thailand adventure this past December-January, but before I go on and on with this rant please let me know which topics you guys would like to hear about...

1) why the GFE is a recipe for disaster. five trips under my belt and I have finally learned this, i think.

2) the perils of drunken cylce operation at 0230am on the mean streets of Pattaya. i have the 'thailand tattoos' to prove it.

3) why Singapore lost cool points with this traveler.

4) why, IMO, Pattaya should be avoided around 'the holidays'. an old topic I'm sure, but give me a moment on this one to reinforce what many of you already know. and...

5) what one does on Dec. 31 in Pattaya when wanna-be terrorist assholes start blowing shit up.

Sorry all, but posting on WSG is not my whole life, though I do enjoy it occasionally. I guess I have been delinquent in my posting and follow-up. I just would not feel right if I let this go and did not post before my next adventure which will be in July! Here goes...

As stated I have made 5 trips to Thailand since '04 and 3 out of those I hooked up and stayed with the same girl and did the GFE thing. I did this because I fell into the same trap alot of guys fall into. I met someone who was cute, interesting, funny, great sex and fun to be with-just like back home, so why not? Well, because Pattaya is not back home and no matter how much we rationalize or pretend your GFE does not care about anything but your money!!! Look, having a girlfriend is great, but why do it in Thailand? Especially on holiday? Trust me, no matter how great she is-there are 100 more just like her around every corner. And you WILL see them even more once you got a 'steady' on your arm!

I forgot the main reason that drew me here in the first place - the hunt! The "conquest" of a different beautiful young girl each day and night. I became complacent.

I really blew it on the last one back in January. This was my second trip over with this one and all was going well. I even got her visa to come visit me in Japan (do you see what's coming?), and yet when March came I got an email that went something like this "darling, thank you for everything but I no come Japan to see you, my family, blah, blah, fucking blah". See, it was pure economics for the gal. Since I had never promised to buy her a house or car or pay for her uncles' cousins' wedding I guess she figured coming to Japan was a losing proposition! Stupid me thought she might fancy a free vacation away from the bar?

Consolation prize: I did not pay cash for her ticket and was able to re-use the mileage for my own fare in July which I will put to good use by fucking and forgetting as many LBFMs as possible!

Oh, one more on this topic. For the inevitable posters who will claim to be able to have their GFE AND bang any girl they want I say...

a) good for you and who cares?
b) you're full of it because at some point 'ol girl has got you by the short hairs whether you like to admit it or not.
c) you probably live in Thailand therefore your point is not taken because my advice is for holiday mongers only.

Devilok, I don't think a GFE is a "recipe for disaster" - it's all in the way that you use it.

I've been going to LOS and the PI numerous times since my early 20's - (1989). Not all the trips were about mongering - some were "legit" traveling, but with the passing of the years, I tend more and more towards mongering.


Over the years I've had quite a few GFE's, but I always remembered the "E" in the "GFE" - namely, they aren't your girlfriends, they only provide you the experience.

Also, I never would dream to invite any of them to visit me at home - mainly because I don't think my wife will appreciate the idea... I view my Asian escapades as a way to "spice up" my life - however, spice isn't meant to replace the food itself - it's only a dressing. If the BG's (whether GFE's or ST) are the "spice" - than having a normal family life, wife and kids, is the "bread and butter" (or the t-bone stake or the fish and chips if you will).


If you remember all that - you can enjoy GFE's as much as you want - no harm and no disaster will come your way.

I have a gf from a bar I met in Pattaya. She says she is not fucking guys and swears by it but I only half believe her. Quite frankly, I think she is full of shit. I've never sent her a dime and would never anyways no matter what she said to me. It's a policy I have just in the most likely even she is lying to me. However, I love Thailand because there is nothing like it on earth.

Well, I don't really have much confidence in women anyways. They just want money. They're all the same. I've gotten about a dozen different bitches who have agreed to marry me from China to Thailand. Would that happen in America? No fucking way! Must be that I've got some $$$.

Might as well exploit this economic advantage to the fullest guys. We are here to exploit, not to be nice. After all, are girls nice to us back home? Do they all wave and agree to marry us at the drop of a fucking hat? Hell no! Fuck em and forget em! Then cheat on em!

I agree it's worse to be abused than to abuse - but why would I do any of that?

Why shouldn't we be nice?

Why would you "punish" the BG's just because the girls back home aren't "nice" to you?

Finally - how can I possibly "fuck them and forget them" - and only then "cheat on them"? How can you possibly cheat on someone you have already forgotten?

In short, I suggest you to take it easy. The girls aren't "garbage" - they provide you a certain service - just like your accountant or your bus driver back home.

Will you call your bus driver "garbage" because "he drives you around only for money, and doesn't really care whether you get to work on time or not?"

To me it doesn't make any sense. I say - enjoy, have fun, be nice.

Well, I agree that for a guy who doesn't have a wife or a serious relationship at home, dealing with GFE's can be more confusing, and even dangerous: men like to fuck around, but men also tend to pair in couples; if there is nothing else around, one can think (mistakenly) of his GFE in terms of a "real girlfriend" - which of course she isn't.


However, from what I've seen, even unmarried men who maintain some self discipline can handle GFEs without letting them becomes "disaster".
