How to avoid getting busted?

I think my online reputation on these boards is A-OK...and I'm not a cop.

With that being said....

How do I avoid falling prey to a scam and getting busted by law enforcement?

I got an email from a gal that is interested in possibly doing some work. She sounds young....has never done this before...blah blah blah.

I sent her an email sorta outlining what I'm looking for and my contact info.

What are some other steps I can take to protect myself?

If you don't feel comfortable that everything is okay, DON'T DO IT!

In general, LE can do pretty much anything they want. She could even have sex with you first and take the money after and they can arrest you. Just throwing you in jail for a couple of nights for solicitation is effective. So you have to spend time in jail unless you want your friends to bail you out and find out why you were arrested. Stings are more about shock value than actually getting a conviction. LE doesn't even have to have enough evidence to win at trial in order to lock you up.

If you think the girl is worth it, then ask her to meet you somewhere else. Like Oregon or Nevada. Somewhere outside local jurisdiction. It'll cost you a bit in gas and time and maybe a higher fee, but if she goes for it, chances are slim she's LE.

The other option is to ask her to dinner for a first meeting. Pay her something for her time, but don't talk about sex. Explain that you want to get to know her before going further. End the meeting with a hug. Do that two or three times and chances are, if she's LE, they'll give up because it's too much effort. Expensive yes, but it works.

If you have a good relationship with a known provider, you might also ask her what she knows about this new girl. Assumming the girl is "working" and not just someone looking to pay rent with a one-time thing. You'd be surprised what the provider back-channel knows.

Unfortunatley there's no really good way to know if she's legit or LE. But if you have doubts, it's better not to find out you are right.

While it might seem bad I would not take a chance until some reviews from other known people are in. One can do the right steps to avoid a conviction by careful statements and such with the escort but they can still arrest you and that might casue you a lot of grief.

Outcall is also much safer than incall on unknown providers.

I never thought about getting caught in a LE sting operation. So, can anybody comment on any safe local girls. I was looking at emerald and summer are they ok? Can you recommend anybody else?

Well I have had no problems with the local girls, I do wait until they have had a few reviews from trusted people. I would avoid the agencies due to cost and higher risks.

Emerald is nice, a bit older than she claims but a fun relaxing date. There are 3 or so summers, two of which I have seen and would date again.

You are unlikely to have any issues with LE if you stay with the established Indies.
