I've noticed that this web site is called World Sex Guide, so I figured I'd post my own little guide of sorts. In my month stay in LOS, I spent a week in Pattaya, 3 days in BK, and the rest in Phuket.
Pattaya-
I can't really add more to what's been said in the forum already about Pattaya in general, but I can talk about a few places I know inimately. First is the Camelot hotel. Great fancy place in south Pattaya. Big well kept rooms, large and fancy lobby and dining area, and has absolutely nothing that has anything to do with Camelot. Charged 600B each night I brought a guest in, though if I did it before 6 they didn't seem to care. Abf sucked (yay, spam and toast), though was not as bad as the abf in Corona Inn, KL. At least the Corona Inn had an in house spa to make up for the lack of good food. Anyways, Charlie wouldn't like the Camelot, but for those who want the best hotel near WS, this might just be it.
Classroom A-go-go. Great place to stop by. This was the only gogo bar I went to, so I can't compare, but the sleeze didnt overwhelm and the white wine was tastey. The dancers there were on average the same as the bg's. There were a few that stood out, particularly one named Yo. She was the star of the stage and the only one who seemed interested in dancing, the others just kind of rocked back and forth holding on to the pole. She was very young looking, though I was told she was 24, and had more energy in her than the rest of the house combined, which seemed to spread to the other girls. I imagine this was not the best time of the year to go...the lack of energy might have been from the lack of customers, ie money.
BKK-
Honestly, I can't remember a damned thing. I can't remember how long I was there, what or who I did, or where I stayed. I think it was at a place on sumkavit around soi 7 called Grand Inn. Hard to spot, expensive internet, and beds as hard as rocks in itty-bitty rooms. Would not suggest it to anyone. I seem to remember petting an elephant walking down the street though. And one more thing...despite what it may look like on a map, soi 7 is a LONG walk from soi cowboy.
Phuket-
Phuket town was fun to explore. Nothing for mongering, but a very nice place. Kata beach is beautiful and less crowded than Patong, but the best beach that I saw on Ko Phuket was the one between Kata and Patong, I forget the name. It's actually a park (I think) so there are no hotels or nothin. Patong didnt suite me too much. Because of the lack of enough propper establishments to put them, the place swarmed with bg's. Only had one gogo bar, and it was very dimm in there. At least that is my excuse for taking home the hideous things I did. Somehow, I open my eyes in my room and I'm next to two of the ugliest thai girls I'd ever seen. I had them lt, but after turning the lights on I excused them from their duties. It seems the happenin place to be is Soi Tiger. It's pretty cool there since it was the first time I'd seen a place where the streets were actually mega bars. There was this one great hotel, freshly rennovated, and had glass walls for the bathrooms !! called Bangla House I think. 500B. Did have a problem with the water pressure or lack thereof the third time I stayed there. But as far as I'm concerned, Patong in general was not a place worth visiting.
Well, that's what I have to say about that.
