IM a newbie and want to go to angeles city

I am american and never have left my country, I have my passport on order and am trying to learn as much as possible about going to the philippines, through what i have read it seems like angeles will be the kinda girls i want. I know nothing of how to get there but going on Orbitz or cheapoflights.com and asking for a flight and hotel type package. As you can see im newbie I would appreciate detailed comments on things as i am reading lots of posts on here to become educated while im waiting for the right time to fly down there.
I hope to get enough info about what im doing that i have a blast down there and not a nightmare vacation

Well lets just say its best to do your homework before u get down there, first off dont go through those internet sights like cheapflights.com or shit like that u will pay more, use a travel agent i reccomend ED his email is emabunga@juno.com very reliable and fantastic prices to the PI. Go to www.balibago.com to find your hotel in angeles and book early and 9 out of 10 times they will offer a service to pick u up at the airport in manilla costing anywhere from P2000-2500 ($40-50) kinda high but well worth the peice of mind rather than jumping in a taxi and getting fucked over by the driver, u never know. Just have the hotel pick u up, rooms will cost anywhere from $20-50 in angels per night average is $25 per night at good hotels

Ed Mabunga will quote you some of the best prices. Pick a hotel out of the Balibago ebasite and have them send you a driver to pick you up at the Airport. If not find one there and don't buldge from paying more than 2,400 pesos. Stick to your guns. The hotels will do bettern on the prices on the guys to pick you up.

I always use China Airlines. Lately, Philippines Airlines have been having some good prices. Question is from what city you are from?

WhiteBread WB , you are doing the best thing you can do for now. Read the different boards and gather all the information you can. Leatherneck asked an important question, What city you coming from. I fly from Jacksonville North Carolina to LA. I used to use Philippine Airline from la to manila but now use EVA. Just do your homework and ask questions. If you need any help on this end, pm me or ask outright on the board. My first trip, all my trips , have been alone. I traveled the first time just after my 2nd hip replacement and 6 months after a major stroke. Lots of guys here will help you. And the girls will love you.
