The "Fetish" club poison/sedate their guests and steal all their money. You can expect the same in both the "Taboo" and "Playboy" clubs, since they belong to the same mafia group.

Do not under any circumstances risk going there. Most of the taxi drivers work for these clubs and will take you there, whatever your wish was. And you can't complain to the police after you've been robbed, because they work for them too.

while things like this happen. i would put as much faith in this as if a new poster came in and posted 2 threads about the perfect girl that spent a week with you for 50 euros. that said dont let your guard down. When you travel alone you are at risk. going to "sex clubs" or shady areas increases the risk.

First hand information. Happened to a friend of mine who frequents these forums.

He wouldn't risk posting about it, though - he'll be visiting Sofia again and he wouldn't try the mafia's patience.

Reddog, you're right. I know how it sounds. Still my goal was accomplished and you, people, have been warned. Take it or leave it, up to you.

As for confirmation - I'd rather not find one here than find out another innocent guest was abused. (And I'm sure that the other possible victims are just as scared and bitter as my friend to talk about it.)

There are many other striptease bars in Sofia - much better, cheap and - most importantly - safe. If you risk going to "Fetish" (and the other two) despite my warning, at least listen to Reddog and do not! go there alone. Have someone to watch your back.

Well, anyone who goes to "Fetish" club is getting robbed by the prices they charge there anyways. And I've heard that Taboo and Playboy are just as expensive. You'd be a fool to stay there once you find out how much it cost. As soon as I heard the price in Fetish, I downed my beer as fast as I could and got the hell outta there.
