Century Plaza Shenzhen

I will be in Shenzhen next week staying at the Century Plaza.

I have stayed there once before but due to a lack of experience it was not that great with the girls.

I did go to the nightclub underneath but found no action there, and in the evening in front of the hotel there were lots of guys touting for girls but again due to lack of experience I did not take them up.

I did meet a girl at the coffee shop in the hotel I was getting a little desperate and she quoted me 900 rmb took here to my room had a poor experience and she was off within an hour.

Can anyone give me any advise, for example.
Was I ripped off by this girl, could she have stayed all night for this money.
What happens with the touts at the front of the hotel, are the girls they provide ok how much do they charge, how would I know what they are going to look like, and can you bring a girl back for the night & also What would I pay for this.

I travel alone so tend to be cautious and not keen an back allys because of this.

Any advise you guys can give me would be appreciated

When In Shenzhen, there is only one place to go. MUMIANWAN pronounced Moo Me An Wan. 150RMB a pop and 350RMB for the night. If you go to a disco, and after 10pm you can pick up for around 270RMB.
Mumianwan is a very samll suburb, the taxi driver will drop you off out side a resturant, as there is only one, go up stairs and pick from dozens

Yes, 900rmb sounds a bit ex for me for one hour of fun. If you don't speak any Chinese, I suggest to go to Empress Massage at Xiangxichun Town whereby you get a decent massage for less then A$50 or $300rmb. Xiangxichun is 10 minutes walk from Century Plaza. If you can speak some chinese, Xiangxichun has a lot of "barber" shops and massage parlour at the back alley catering to the lower end of the market. Cost is around $150rmb for one shot and $500rmb for whole night. If you need a wank, it starts from 35rmb (yes A$7).

How much you pay is contingent on where and what time you pick up the lady. Because you met her at the coffee shop at Century Plaza, the lady will usually ask for more $$$$ then if you have met her on the street. She asked for 900rmb but for one shot, you could have easy brought it down to 500rmb. However, if she bumps onto you on the street, perhaps 500rmb is enough to entice her to stay for the night. Also, it is also contingent on what time you met her. If you met her before 10p.m, maybe she would have charged you much more for one night as it meant she loses other business. However, if it was at 1a.m - 2p.m, the rate would have been a lot cheaper.

You have to be very careful of the touts especially if you are a foreigner. My best friend went with a tout to his house and he was extorted. Tout surrounded him with a few guys and demanded that he not only pay for sex, but for the "rental" of room, "security" fee, etc and the bill came out to 3000rmb..... He got away paying 1500rmb but the experience was scary enough to not seek a cheap fuck.....Curiosity kills the cat so be very very careful of the touts no matter how seemingly friendly or unthreatening they are......

If you must use a tout, call Pu on 13714066116......I have personally use him before. His chicks quality varies but at least he doesn't extort $$$ from me. He can speak some English and usually just stand outstand Century Plaza. Cost is 300rmb for 1 shot or 600rmb for whole night. DO NOT PAY MORE!

Century Plaza is getting a bit old. If you are after a better hotel for around the same $$$$, you might want to consider living in News Times Square Hotel. I have lived in many hotels in Shenzhen and find that News Times Square at Jiabin Lu is the top hotel for hotel around the US$50 - $70 region.
