Prostitution is considered legal in Mexico and Articulo 123 of the 1917 Mexican constitution has been interpreted by courts to protect sex workers; however, Mexico does have legislation protecting minors, against sexual pandering and prohibiting trafficking persons for sex.

I't's legal in regulated areas, but nevertheless corrupt cops collect protection money from everybody involved including mongers they can shake down.
Age limit is >18.

I have found conflicting infomation on the age of sexual consent for prostitutes in Mexico. Is it 18 years old everywhere? Does vary by Mexican state? If she is 17 is she illegal in the sense I could get put in jail?
