Advertising on Forum

Is advertising on forums allowed ?

I refer to the pimp running the resort for mongers thread as an example.

David350 has a valid point.

In my opinion the WSG has been used to promote the said mentioned guesthouse for the owners benefit to get members to stay in his resort and even providing girls to order.
If thats not advertising then what is.

Unlike every bar owner in Thailand they don't use the WSG to advertise on and drum up buisiness.

Before there is anymore replies I will state that I myself have been to Thailand and have been to these places.

He's also breaking Thai law by "working" in his own business, a stunt which can get him fined jailed and deported. Oh yes indeed!
Judging by his display on his self-made infomercial thread, not the most pleasant of people to do business with.
