Advice about Mombasa, please!

I read all this thread, a lot of info, I should greatly appreciate ``Kenya Sex Guide`` by Blackion, also tips of Gladiator and Marviniii.
But I am quite novice in Africa>Kenya>Mombasa, so please answer some my questions.
1.I want to go to Mombasa in May. Is it hard rains this time or rains moderate?
2.Reccomend me budget girl-friendly hotel or guesthouse in Mombasa.
3. As I understood the best places for mongering are nigtclubs. Main are - Florida, Casablanka, Bora-Bora, Toyz,Pirates, Salambo, Saba-Saba also Casaurina in Mtwapa, Tembo in Nyali, Chakatak in Diani. Don`t I forget something? What is dress-code in this nightclubs? Is it normal - training shoes, jeans,T-shirt or better leather shoes,trousers and shirt?
4.Are there places for day mongering? May be some bars, massage parlours,``street points``? I prefer day activity.
5. As I read here average price is 1000-2000KSh/night. This was in 2003 - 2004 year. Is this price actual now?

I probably shall go to Mombasa in the second half of july. Any advice about a clean hotel free of charge for guests?
I red in an other topic about royal courte hotel but unfortunately I found nothing in the web about this hotel.

Forget girlfriendly hotels, you have to book a double. Royal Court is good;
furthermore hotel saphire. They are all townhotels; the rest mostly
short time hotels; forget to sleep.
Forget the beachresorts.
And sorry my friends 1000 ksh is the normal rate for the night, plus tip.
Locals pay 500 or less

You don`t need to book in advance; you can negotiate if you stay more than
one or two weeks. Everytime i stay the first time in a cheap hotel and walk
relaxed to my favourite place. Like manson hotel; not good but not bad for one
night.
If you arrive wet and with suitcase in your favourite place they know that you
need a room now; so i want to make the buisness by my rules and they see
that i can go to another place.
NEVER arrive in mombasa at christmas time; the whole middle class spend
their vaccation at the coast. The price at the 24 th can be tripple high.
For your idea saphire or royal court is the best place; you are in the town;
cheap; and for swimming or hunting in the beach discos you can drive by
matatu. Only nothern beach like bamburi. Avoid the southern area like diani
beach; golf area; expensive and very dark/lonesome at night.
But if you want to make that like me you need a good guide or map.
The best one in germany is the Reise-know-how.
If you want to do without that; spend one day round 20 USD for a taxi
driver; he`ll organize the rest for you

My holiday program in Kenia for the next July would be to stay 2 days in Mombasa ( Sapphire hotel or New palm tree hotel ) and ten or more days in Bambury beach ( Bambury beach resort ).

Forget the palm tree hotel; very simple; ok; it has the atmosphere of the
british colonism area.
Bamburi is the nicest beach in my opinion; close to the action.
Indiana beach apartment is the only place i would stay there; own kitchenette
SAT-TV. The other hotels are not my thing. If i live a few weeks with a girl
i want to have an equipment like in the indiana beach; because i`m in
vaccation

No; the hotels in kenya are not girlfriendly; you have to book a double; only
the dirty shorttime hotels in the town are for two persons.
The price in indiana and others depends how long you stay.
I stay mostly round 4 weeks in kenya so i get a montly rate.
If you stay round about 2 weeks maybe 2000/2300 ksh/day
Haggle and try it.
Forget nyali beach; lonesome in the night and nothing around the hotels;
you need everytime a taxi

I tried indiana beach in april. With a double room you wouldn't have any probs. Sometimes you can pick up a hooker at the hotelarea (pool, restaurant)
